marijuana is much safer than alcohol. at least a person knows what they are doing, unlike when drinking alcohol

Yes because i think that people who have cancer could benefit! Also it would put alot of drug dealers out of business. Bring more tax revenue.

It can be used for several reasons like cancer patients. And drug dealers would be out of business on that one, they would have to get a real job!

legalizing it is just giving our teens the right to smoke it

De-criminaliztion would be the best way to handle the legal problems. I never heard of someone wrecking a vehicle, killing someone, robbing a store or a home for a bag of weed. Jails and prisons would not be overcrowded with non-violent offenders.

All things were put on this earth by God to be used wisely and with discipline. Medical marijuana is a great asset for individuals with cancer, aids, parkinson's, multiple sclerosis and certain anxiety disorders.

Smoking a joint was always a way to mellow out, kick back and relax...then of course comes the munchies!!!!!

bluefieldian i agree with you 100% evertime you hear about drugs its about the people that smoke weed and people that smoke weed cant get jobs because it stays in the body longer than any other drug but it is ok to hire someone who smokes crack, does coke, or any type of pain pills because it leaves the body sooner then pot and the people that hire coke/crack heads take a big risk of getting robbed so they can go and get their next fix

It's call regulation. 21 years of age. It is safer then alcohol. If alcohol came on the scene now it would never be legalized.

Drug testing only hurts the weed smokers. They are the least of our worries.

Your are right. I always say I don't get high, I get stupid. Sooooooooooooo? It doesn't last. Actually the effects are not as long lasting as alcohol. Never wrecked a car, forgot what i did, or did anything out of character on a little smoke. Can't say that about drinking.

Because the "war on drugs" is not working. Why not make it legal and obtain the revenue from taxation, like we do with alcohol.
