Marijuana Debate - Anna, IL

anna has enough stupid idiots why should we make them dumber by giving them pot. I think all of them should get jail time just like meth heads do do away with all the drugs and drug users and this town would be a better place.

You need to move to a communist country were everything is banned. You might like it there..........and this town would be a better place.

Well sure. The last thing we need is a bunch of pot heads doing 25mph getting in the way of all those fine upstanding drunks doing 90.

I smoke pot but I would never drive high because i wouldn't risk putting someone else in danger because of my high. Pot isn't that bad but everyone has their opinions on it. I don't smoke to have fun I smoke to be calm. I have depression and suppose to take mess to ease it and some of the medications I have taken made the problem worse and marijuana actually doesn't make my problem worse but eases the depression I have.

It's what I use to actually medicate myself and I believe people should be able to do that legally. Go to the doctor for a prescription and all medications have side affects definitely with depression meds on most of depression meds are suicidal thoughts and even though prescrips are a legal drug doesn't make it safe though

The only side effect caused by toking (if you can call it a side effect) is the occasional midnight 7-11 run for more Doritos. Hang in there, once those from last generation are gone this will happen. The only reason that it is still illegal is because politicians rely on money from that generation. Once it is gone, guess who they'll have to come begging too for money. Their tune will change in a hurry then.

Seriously? Most pot heads, do know how to drive, it does not affect your ability to drive in anyway. What about all the drunks driving on 'our' roads? They cause way more damage than pot heads.

Everyone I know does it, I have yet to see one of them kill someone in a car crash, beat their spouse, neglect their child, starve themselves or cause damage to other peoples lives. It is a peaceful substance that helps people et and get along, and no it doesn't kill brain cells.. It's been proven, do ur research. The only thing mj is guilty of is helping chemo patients eat and making people more creative and happy.
