Marijuana Debate - Alamo, TN

I have seen this drug almost ruin my sons life. Nobody knows what this drug can do. Everyone wants to say it is just marijuana but it is a gateway drug. If it does not lead to other drugs then it just messes your life up.

Would you want someone to operate on you after they had just smoked a joint? Would you want to get on an airplane if the pilot had just smoked one? Use common sense please. It does not need to be legalized!

i say legalize it. TEACHERS don't mind put a kid that have AHD on drugs and have them walking around like zombies all day to control their behavior. so i say LET ER RIP.

bull crap been there done that. i am not a week person and dont know anyone that hasnt started out smoking weed. i dont care what internet puts up. after the high you are always chasing for a better one.been around for a long time met alot of people.still dont know anyone that says someday i want to be a crackhead.but it happens. hell maybe we should legalize it all.then prisons would almost be empty the people you work with would be laid back as you say then you have to take up the slack. crackheads would be locked in their houses peeking through the blinds scared to come out.cookers would be able to get sudafed over the counter that is a world we really need to bring to our kids.

not being a smart ass but she has lived with drug use from both parents. totally hate what we put her through dont know why she even speeks to either of us.i have been sober for a few years now people judge her because of what i have done.so sad she has to pay for something she had no control over.

It would clear on spots in our jails for REAL CRIMINALS. Marijuana is no more harmful or dangerous than alcohol.

It is a natural growimg plant that has medical benefits.also taste better than beer doesnt kill people with cars.dosent produce hangovers.calms nerves.only downside is that it as a gateway drug.but legalizing would keep it away from hardcore dealers hopefully changingthe whole gatewaydrug stamp Lannie joe

It really blows my mind that beer and whiskey are legal with all the domestic and physical side effects but you cant twist one up after a chaotic 12 hrs of work.i dont know anyone that smokes and become violent or that can smoke their whole paycheck up in one night.everyone should be able to have two plants and pay taxes on those two at the end of the year.this would also eliminate people from having to hit the hood to get it.lowers crime

Charlie, do you give lessons in farming? I think it is funny that so many people do it, but the government plays politics with the issue and prevents smokers from enjoying it while thousands die annually in alcohol related accidents.

BTW, there is ZERO evidence that marijuana is a gateway drug. In fact, latest studies have proven it is not!
