It is extrememly upsetting to realize that our country is unable to protect its borders. We are being invaded with a population that is not wiling to become an American.

Because illegals are breaking the law and if we go to another country and don't have our documentation we'd probably end up dead.

I am hearing the most ignorant arguments about illegal immigrations the San Francisco rep, on a news clip said it is wrong to target one group of people illegal aliens what the hell is he talking about this issue is so out of control it is like these guys are the hero's of America yes they come to help pick fruit, and get laborers jobs and some actually get skilled jobs but there is a proper way of doing business are the authorities suggesting that some people have to follow laws but not illegal aliens are the authorities suggesting that our children understand that laws are made to break, what exactly is the common good by arguing about stopping illegal immigrations is San Francisco that wrong that it is trying to set this bad example for children support law breakers you guys are hilarious, this is ridiculous I plan to copy this note to other pages just so others can understand you are promoting civil and legal disobedience, and that sounds criminal child endangerment.

what is inhumane supporting laws or breaking laws or having borders or not having borders your answer is one that leaves more question but than that is a problem with passive aggressive people, be direct and specific

Fine for people to want to better themselves; but we already have enough economic problems. Where I work one is paid over $50/mo if speak Spanish because there are so many Mexicans still needing health services. Also not checked for health problems

very good point I am very curious why there is such defense of illegal aliens when we all realize T.B. is becoming another issue, and other health concerns these people have been exposed to a lot of bad stuff and yet our government is say yes, are they thinking of Our kids, our health it appears not.

SB1070 is a racist attempt at enshrining racial profiling in official government policy, fueled by irrational fear of immigrants who have risked their lives to come here and work jobs almost no white American would do. Blame the broken immigration system, not the workers!

I realize the people of AZ felt they had to act. But it is the purview of federal government to handle the borders. We need a rational plan to control the flow. We cannot thrive without the newcomers, but we can be overwhelmed by the numbers.

so the answer to thriving is illegal aliens, can you explain illegal this group that can offer the answer to more property being purchased and taxes generated are also criminals are you comfortable around criminals go stay in a jail for a week or to, find out how violent criminals are and then move into a alien community with your kids watch as they are bullied and tormented by haters.

If the U.S. Government dont want to do it's job then the states need to step up to the plate and inforce immigration laws.
I feel that it's not fair that people can just come into the country and live off everything freely that hard working Americans have worked for all our lifes.
They are a high burden on our schools since they dont pay any taxes.
The whole immigration system is screwed up including the 14th amendment in the constitution allowing automatic citizenship to babies born of foreign parents in the United States, everything is screwed up in this country, from muslims to illegals.

Many Mexicans ,Salvadorians,Brazilians ect would like to pay taxes and stay in this country. There should be any easier way to get the good ones in to stay and work and pay taxes and be a part of this country. The ones who want to live under the radar and skip out on taxes and break laws should get out. Many good people don't come here legally because they donot have the resources or time to get through the endless red tape.

Citizenship is a privilege not a right , pendeja. There are no "good" ILLEGALS . They are all, well..., ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CRIMINALS . If they don't like our laws or rules or how we enforce them , they can GO BACK to their COUNTRY of ORIGIN. ARREST and DEPORT.

Not only TB but whooping cough has made a resurgence due to illegals. Ten people have died of it in Marin county alone. This was a disease that we had irradicated from this country long ago. Now they've brought it back.

No individual whose parents are illegal immigrants should be able to gain citizenship except by the legalization process not by birthright.
