Me too. But, if the police have someone stopped for an infraction of a law, I would prefer that they ask for the papers of anyone that they suspect is here illegally. Our economy can't afford to keep supporting those that are here illegally, and aren't paying taxes for the services and jobs that they consume.

It's already a federal law that all non US citizens must carry status papers on their person at all times.
