As US Citizens, we have a responsibility to protect our interests and uphold the laws of the United States of America as well as the laws of individual States, Counties and Cities. Our elected officials should realize that we expect them to look out for the best interests of OUR CITIZENS and OUR COUNTRY. Before any federal action is taken on illegal alien "reform", our government needs to listen to the voice of our citizens and registered voters.
Illegals are costing this State way too much money, healthcare, education, jobs
Do you know anybody who is hiring illegal cleaning ladies and illegal gardeners? I don't know any "Mrs." who doesn't have friends or neighbors who pay cash to cheap illegal domestic help. I say turn the employers in...that's right, your neighbors and friends who hire them to come to their homes as servants. Did you know that all employers of household servants are required to pay withholding tax, worker's comp., disability, etc.? I don't know anybody who hires domestics that are voluntarily complying with the withholding requirement; that makes them, the employer, lawbreakers. I say fine or arrest the "Lady of the House" who continues to contribute to the support of illegal domestics and gardeners.

I have had enough of the criminals, tax burden, disrespect, trash and attitude of Hispanics about illegal immigration. I think most Americans are very upset and feel sort of helpless. I am boycotting all the cities that are boycotting Arizona. I will no longer visit those cities and have contacted the Los Angeles City Council about my boycott. I know many others are doing the same.

I don't hire illegal aliens myself and the people who I associate with don't either. Don't know where the idea that a lot of Americans hire them. I even avoid restaurants now since a majority hire illegal aliens and the quality of restaurant food has gone down

I sent a e-mail to Arizona in support - I want to know how California can follow suit with Arizona regarding the immigration law? This is a great nation we live in. I feel for the first time in my life that I am losing my America has I know it and that is very scary. We has a nation need to start in forcing the law for illegal immigrations and send out a clear message we will not tolerate this illegal behavior. It seems The President Obama administration is not concerned with what the American people want. Seems our Constitutional right are slowing being taking away. Is anybody paying attention?

I feel California needs to support Arizona 100%:
There are already law in place that are not being inforced: Illegal immigration to the United States refers to the act of foreign nationals violating U.S. immigration policies and national laws by entering or remaining in the United States without proper permission from the United States government.[1]

too bad the politicians don't care how the LEGAL citizens feel....

they simply don't care, folks. It is very apparent they are only seeing a 'possible' voting bloc

yep, it's a very helpless feeling, work and pay your taxes and then basically have Washington tell you "too bad"

Our country can no longer support everyone that comes into our country illegally. We need to secure our borders and provide a path to citizenship (not amnesty) for those that are already here and move on. We need to drastically reform our welfare system so there is no incentive to stay "in the system". We have made things way too easy for way too long and the middle class is becoming obsolete. Please remember that the rich are only going to pay so much. They will only give up so much of their wealth and then everything falls on the middle class to provide. The middle class will disappear and then we have a two class system. Rich and Poor. Every young person who has had the experience of a college education did not go through this challenge only to end up poor....but this is what will happen in the USA if we don't secure our boarders and take care of USA.

Because when they break the law you can dig deep into their history.

"The Constitution does not mention immigration. It does not specify rules for immigration. Article I, Section 8 says:“(Congress shall have the power) To establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization,” not regulate or enforce (or not enforce) immigration.

Period.

Beyond that the reader needs to drop down to the 10th Amendment. It reads:“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

In short, dealing with “illegal immigrants”(trespassers) is a duty reserved for the states, not the federal government.

But if you follow the corporate media you wouldn’t know this. You’d think the Constitution protects illegal immigrants."

I cross the desert to Texas every other month...and I carry my passport. I am a U.S. citizen and I don't mind proving it. I immigrated here with my family from a continent far away and I eventually paid $3K for my own citizenship when I became an adult. The illegals don't want to pay for citizenship. It's that simple. They want to come here and take our greenbacks, but they don't want to give back any of those greenbacks to buy their citizenship. They need to be hunted down and told to pay up or ship out.

The illegals need to buy their citizenship or be deported.
