Immigration Debate - Fort Worth, TX

our immigrants had to come to ellis island to be processed, learned to speak the english language but never forgot their roots. they did it the right way, so why cannot there be an ellis island for the immigrants from mexico? but they do not want that because that might make them responsible citizens and they would not get anything for free like they do now. i am afraid most of the drugs and wmd coming over. our border people cannot be there everywhere. so stopping those that are not of american decent in arizona makes a lot of sense.

just enforcing laws that the National already have and gov of USA is too lazy to enforce

get thim out of here. so many have to wait yrs to get here legaly so why let them stay if they cant fallow the rules and who knows what others they are breaking every day.

this is about illegal people who are not u.s.citizens not immagrants .i am hispanic and clearly see that we as a people have a problem with ethics and doing what it takes to do what is right legaly to live and work in the US.

Illegal immigration is to LEGAL immigration as to black is to white. HOWEVER, there are -- and have been -- so many problems in the immigration service, that it is difficult to know who is right and who is wrong. I can think of several instances of illegal immigrants who have tried and tried unsuccessfully to get proper accreditation. They have been put off because "there were so many other applications in front of them," etc. I know of one young woman who has tried for over FIFTEEN years, but the government just keeps coming up with one excuse or another. It is no wonder that immigrants hate us.

Why keep people that could not come here legally? What makes us believe that while here they will start to function legally here at all?

Arizona has the right to implement more control than the federal government inforces at the present time = it is already against the law for them to carry on as some do==so send them home

I really don't know the extent of the law. However I do know that either you control (enforce) immigration laws or drop the border guards. Personally, I don't think that you'll ever stop it. Besides some business owners obviously want it. Our country is suffering from it.
Solution:
Let whomever wants to come over come. However, absolutely no one can work if they don't pay into our tax system and social security. You know, the basics. Those areas that have now put our country in deficit. Not to mention all the crooked big CEO etc.

CEO aren't the only one that can be crooked. Any of us are prey for greed if we don't keep it in check.
