Facts are some people will obey the laws and some people won't. It's really hard when law breaking is cultural.

I'll turn in a illegal alien whenever i find them. Illegal aliens are illegal in every country.

As a proud American of Mexican origins, all I can say is that immigrants shouldn't come to this country waving their flag because we have Old Glory and our hispanic Americans have also lost their lives while in the service of this great country. I am not one who hates immigrants but if they are going to be here, they might as well learn to respect this country. Sure, Mexican immigrants have the numbers as far as birth rate, but how about in the voting booths? Are they there? No! Some hispanic politicians think that with all these immigrants, we are going to start winning all the elections; this is simply not true because these people will not vote and only make their voices heard when it comes to their needs. If they ever decide to get involved in voting, they'll have their own candidates as we hispanic Americans will just watch. They are not interested in anything else except themselves and they certainly don't want to fight much less die for this country, with a few exceptions.
I love my Mexican neighbors but they can stay home and I'll stay in mine.
Amen, brother! If they could just respect us and our country, it would go a long way. They should blend in, rather than trying to change us. Didn't they come here to be ONE of us?

La Raza, as a political party has been gone for a long , long time. It was made up of Mexican-Americans not illegal immigrants. Talk and say all you want but don't blame La Raza since you don't even know what it is; It's history!
By the way, one of the reasons ethnic studies was needed in Tucson was because these students knew nothing about Mexican American history, not even the language.
No, La Raza is just like the NAACP and, just as active in our politics. We wouldn't be discussing Sheriff Joe, if not for La Raza. They support illegal immigration so, don't even try to deny it.
In Tuscon, or anywhere else in the USA, it is not our responsibility to accomodate foreigners. It is the responsibility of the foreigners, to assimilate with us.

You have to remember - this is our country, not theirs.

So why would you support someone breaking into the USA, over support of the laws in the USA? You don't respect the law?
You know you're wrong.

Prove that it is the US citizens, who are responsible for the care of illegal aliens from anywhere.
And then, prove La Raza doesn't support illegal immigration. It is La Raza, who is demanding the expulsion of Sherrif Joe in AZ.

Here is my proof....http://www.nclr.org/

NCLR conducts immigration policy analyses and advocacy activities in its role as a civil rights organization. The primary focus of these activities is to encourage immigration policies that are fair and nondiscriminatory, to encourage family reunification, and to enact necessary reforms to the current immigration system.

The current U.S. immigration system is in need of fundamental reform. NCLR supports comprehensive immigration reform that includes the following principles:

Restoring order by getting the 12 million undocumented people in our country to come forward, obtain legal status, learn English, and assume the rights and responsibilities of citizenship while creating smart enforcement policies that uphold national security and the Constitution
Cracking down on unscrupulous employers whose practices undermine conditions for all workers
Unclogging legal channels to reunite families and allow future workers to come in with the essential rights and protections that safeguard our workforce
Enacting proactive measures to advance the successful integration of new immigrants into our communities

The work of NCLR and its Affiliates on behalf of immigrants builds on America's identity as a nation of immigrants by promoting fairness in the law and advancing a number of ways to help immigrants fully enter the mainstream of American life. We strive to align our work with the highest aspirations of Latinos—immigrants and natives alike—which is why education, homeownership, health, and economic security dominate NCLR's efforts throughout the country. By advancing these issues, NCLR and its Affiliates are promoting the full economic and social integration of immigrants into the mainstream of American life. In addition, more than half of NCLR's Affiliates are engaged in the work of helping immigrant adults learn English; many are also engaged in efforts to increase civic participation in immigrant communities. Nationally, NCLR works to increase funding streams and capacity for this kind of work, for which the demand for services far outstrips the supply. NCLR and its Affiliates are on the front lines of carrying out the work that has always been essential to America's success as a nation, ensuring full respect for the contributions of immigrants and full access to the American Dream.

This was taken La Razas website. It seems clear as to what La Razas intentions are. I dont see any laws being broken by them nor do I see where they are encouraging illegal immigration.

That right, a million foreigners is not enough, you want the million legal immigrants plus an unlimited number of illegal aliens.

Blame Mexicans because they are 62% of the illegal aliens vs. 38% from the other 6.5 billion people. Mexico only has a population of 110 million yet 62% of illegals are from Mexico.

Mexicans are incapable of following any law no matter how simple. Example, if you don't have a license, you don't drive. You surely don't drive drunk, and yet they do.

NCLR’s major policy positions also include the following:
•It supports access to driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants.

•It opposes the REAL ID Act, which requires that all driver’s license and photo ID applicants be able to verify they are legal residents of the United States, and that the documents they present to prove their identity are genuine. According to La Raza, this law “opens the door to widespread discrimination and civil rights violations.”

•It opposes the Clear Law Enforcement for Criminal Alien Removal Act (CLEAR), which would empower state and local law-enforcement authorities to enforce federal immigration laws.
•It supports voting rights for illegal aliens.
•It opposes the Aviation Transportation and Security Act requiring that all airport baggage screeners be U.S. citizens.
•It opposed President Bush’s signing of the “Secure Fence Act of 2006” which authorized 700 miles of new border fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border.

That's just their white-wash, to fool anyone who is looking to to see what damaging they are doing. Getting driver licenses for illegals? That's enough to blow your sources away.
