Immigration Debate - Columbus, OH

When did saying we intend to enforce the law become "controversial". I will say that I'm personally not worried about Mexicans but being from Ohio we have sort of a filter caused by distance. At the end of the day we may need all Non-Muslims as allies. So I am in favour of coming up w/ some way of making it non-hostile for the Mexican people. They are not inherently bad people and for the most part have the same beliefs about self-determination and individualism that we do. They are not the enemy.
BUT you can't just come here w/o at least checking in at the border...it's the LAW.
