I oppose it because America shouldn't be a country where we need to profile fellow Americans in a quest to find an illegal one. We need borders secured and employers held accountable, and we need to cut of welfare for non citizens. Profiling a race is just going way too far and is unAmerican.

Its not profiling. Its just like if you are 25 or 27 and get carded when trying to buy alcohol. Its no differnt than haveing to show id when going into a bar or club.Or if you get pulled over and have to show proof of insurnce and registration. When I travel though the border check station here in tx they ask if i am a U.S. citizen and i am proud to say yes.If you are LEAGLE you should have no problem saying so.

I feel that anyone who is in this country legally would not object to showing ID to prove so, its those who are here illegally that are having a problem with the new immigration law.

That's in Texas, the border patrol is permitted to check for immigration status, it's a Federal law. States can't circumvent Federal law, naturalization laws can only be changed from congress which would take 2/3rds of the states to agree on. Border laws are not the same as state laws, nor are they the same as some standard federal laws.

I BELIEVE THAT EACH STATE OR CITY SHOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE A SAY IF THEY DO NOT SUPPORT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

Article 1, section 8, clause 4 of our constitution says that decision belongs to congress and not states.

Arizona is absolutely doing the right thing. What gives a person who is not in this country legally to have good jobs, free health care and free education when the so many of people who have the right cannot get. If they want these things, then do it the right way. They are bankrupting Arizona and it has every right to just say "no more". Look at Califoria and the problems it has. I commend Arizona for their courage to stand up for what is right. More and more jobs requre a person to know spanish and to me that is enableing the Hispanics and discriminating against Americans. If a person does not know English, then learn it, because more than likely that person is here illegally. To expect every company to have someone who speaks spanish is rediculous. It makes me literaly sick to my stomach to see the United states cater to the Hispanics. There is no way in the world that Mexico would kiss our American behinds. Way to go Arizona!

A person 25 to 27 gets carded to by alcohol will get carded mainly because that person LOOKS to be underage. So what exactly does an illegal immigrant look like?

He looks like a person who can not produce ID when asked for it. What does a unlicensed driver look like? They have to asked before you find out.

So it's not possible for an illegal immigrant to produce some sort of identification that show him to be in the country legally? And your point on an unlicensed driver is incorrect because the only way that can be noticed is if the driver does something wrong and are seen by police. They can't just pull someone over at random and check their ID.

If the Federal Government won't do its job, then somebody else needs to step up. I also support Fremont, NE's, laws. Illegal IS ILLEGAL. No ifs, ands, or buts . . .

A sovereign nation has the right and obligation to protect its sovereignty . These ILLEGALS premeditate an ILLEGAL invasion of our borders. That makes them ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CRIMINALS . I do not give a damn why they come or how hard they work or that they are poor, That is Mexico's problem . I work to support MY family not Pedro's family. You obviously want open borders for 1 of 2 reasons . You are ILLEGAL or you are a Socialist Democrat who wants their votes to stay in power. If you want to ignore Immigration Law then we will ignore Civil Rights Law. Fair is fair, right , entiende pendejo? ARREST and DEPORT all ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CRIMINALS.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Libra

You have a tremendous amount of nervous energy today and you need to find positive ways of expressing it, otherwise it could make you rather irritable and restless. Ideally, you should do something physical, such as going for a brisk walk, cleaning the house while working up a sweat or getting your money's worth out of the gym. Don't take out your frustrations on people who don't deserve them.
