I meant that Myself(and other American Citizens)just want to see the continued Symbolism of the American Dream, for the estimated 1 Million LEGAL Immigrants that annually immigrate our country to have OPPORTUNITIES.I have never doubted that the majority of ILLEGAL Hispanic Immigrants are not hard working. That, for the most part is TRUE.
But, for one to state that ILLEGAL Latino Immigrants are the ONLY HARDEST WORKING groups of peoples living in the U.S.A.,is misinformed and UPSURD. There is so much more to living the American Dream than working hard. The American Dream is about how a person can have UNLIMITED OPPORTUNITIES to do whatever he or she wants to accomplish; that otherwise would not be possible in their previous country. In addition,a person must be able to ASSIMILATE into the U.S.A. You also might ask " How does a person ASSIMILATE into the U.S.A?" In order to assimilate, a person must add to our country, jump into the MELTING POT, experience different views, personalities,backgrounds; and finally contribute, and Develop a HEALTHY Patriotic respect and love for the United States of America.
If one is to become a Legal American Citizen they must swear an oath to no other country,; except our own U.S.A.
After reading my last paragraph,you MAY ask yourself," what does this person mean that a Immigrant has to swear an oath to our country, the U.S.A.?"
By all means, any Legal immigrant to our country can bring their background experiences, and heritage to the U.S.A.
That is why this land is called "the melting pot of the world"!
But, if one is to become a legal immigrant, than he or she must become an AMERICAN at HEART!
