I don't want to spend money just to spend it. Christmas should be about God and family. It is not about how many gifts you get or give! I love to give gifts and watch as people open them, and I will give! Just not as much!

Pickpockets and shoplifters are out in full force.

Gas siphoners are lurking in dimly lit parking lots and garages.

Watch your back !

So many animals have taught us how to do what we once thought was impossible as we evolved... Instead of trying to impress someone with that big gift , give a bunch of small ones to our little friends for the good lord who created them...

Explain? Honestly! Because I don't feel like tapping into my Swiss bank account. Just don't have money in spite of the retailers and economists who insist we're all loaded but just nervous about going out and spending because we hear about the poor economy.

Fiscally, this nation is going down by the bows. It will soon be into the lifeboats, and every (wo)man for him(her)self. I'm saving everywhere I can, because Washington DC certainly isn't.

Well just thank the baby Jesus that Bush brought democracy to the freedom loving peoples of Iraq.

Money and lives well spent, if you ask me.

Yes but when you have little kids you wanna make them a little happy, you don't want them going to school and when the kids ask "what did you get for Christmas" they don't have anything to say. On Christmas I don't spend as much for adults as i do kids.

Everything has gone up in price! It would be hard to spend less if you are buying for the same amount of people.
