These are clearly the STUPIDEST responses I've heard yet.

Has anyone even BOTHERED TO READ the 1K page document HR3200? I doubt it. What is even MORE frightening to me is that this pitbull administration with a bully pulpit doesn't respond to the word NO.

It's 'you don't like the answer, well we'll just CHANGE it a little and call it something else.' It's the 'spoonful of sugar' that helps the 'medicine' go down. It's STILL bad medicine.

And if you don't like THIS version, well we'll make up our own and you won't have access to it. We'll pass it and YOU have to live with it.

Sorry. I don't buy that philosophy. Our elected officials are supposed to respond to what WE need and want; not what they and some lawyer/activist groups want.

Man, if you don't want this crap shoved down your throats, you'd better wake up and let your voice be heard. Otherwise don't complain if you don't like it later. WE don't want to hear it!

It's going to happen with or without people supporting it. Might as well jump on the band wagon and get with the program

Yeah that's what all you libs say. You'd hang yourselves if left alone with no one to blame.

Don't you mean you would hang YOURSELF if you didn't have the middle class to tax or something to corrupt?

You simply have NO clue, do you.
If you think for ONE MINUTE that this proposal will come without a SUBSTANTIAL tax increase, I'd like to know what you're on.

No no, I think it will come with a tax increase. Which sucks, and I'm sure I will pay. A large portion will probably come from people who won't even miss it, such as CEOs who make millions a year. I'm glad to see you didn't argue the corruption at least.

Also if you think that the Republicans/Conservatives WOULDN'T tax someone or something, I hope you ask for whatever I'm smoking cause what you have isn't better.

Obama is tring to fix this broken system that is mostly siding with the profit taking insurance companies. Its a laudable event in the history of America

I'm for small government and staunch believer in Article 1 Section 8 of the US Constitution. People should take a moment and read it.

Its easy to see with the most basic research that the government meddling in the insurance market CAUSED the problem. Now they are telling you they are the solution to the problem they caused; and you believe them ! Want to fix the problem ? Beyond the most basic of regulations, get the US government out of the issue. Remove artificial barriers created by the federal government to free, open and fair competition. No one has a Constitutional right to free healthcare or federal provided healthcare, Article 1 section 8 , more people should actually read it.

Now THIS is the most intelligent response I've seen here. I heartily agree.

That what government does, they create a problem, so they can fix it.... and get more power

i.e. housing bubble, war on drugs, war on terrorism, inflation, debt, you name it, the government has its hand in it....

Such a contrast to the government the founding fathers brought upon this country

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Libra

You're full of empathy and affection today, so it would be a shame not to spread it around. It's a marvellous day for a low-key get-together with some of the people you haven't seen during the past few days, because you'll enjoy having a good chat about what's been happening. Once your social duties are out of the way you'll love curling up on the sofa with a good book or a favourite film.
