Healthcare should be a bsic right regardless of financial or employment status

We don't need another government run program at this moment in time. Health care needs reform, but not the way Obama is going about it.

Why do we need permission from someone as to if our condition is serious enough to recieve care for it. People have died waiting in countries who already have this reform. Look into what people who live with it have to say. The care goes downhill because the doctors dont get paid as much and the waits and lines just to be seen are rediculous. If someone truly cant afford health care, there is medicaid available. I have a serious health problem and sometimes cant really afford the 300 dollars we pay every other week for our health card but it is something I have to have. It is better to recieve good care than get crap for free. This is another form of legalized uthenasia.

We ave lived in countries with government controlled and mandated medical care. It is allocated according to age and cost of treatment. Consequently, the elderly, chronically ill and those needing expensive ongoing treatment including cancer and other diseases that are either delayed or denied treatment. And they die!!!!
Rep. Grayson was 100% wrong. It is those who want the government to control and mandate treatment and who gets what, like himself, that cause people to die.
Just say no to this government mandated tripe. It causes rationing EVERYWHERE it is practiced.

This bill is a threat to freedom. Let's have sensible, free-market reform. Lower cost will help expand access for everyone. Get the government out of the way!! It bankrupts everything it is involved in. Look at the national debt, post office, social security....

What is this health insurance should be a right? Where in the Constitution does it say that other people have to pay your way in this life? I can't afford health insurance right now either, but I go to work every day and bust my butt and as I work my way up I will eventually have benefits. In the meantime, when I have an illness, I will find a way to pay for my medical bills myself or ask my family for help. In the worst case scenario, I will turn to my church whose business is charity because the government's businees is NOT CHARITY! That's what you're supposed to do...take care of yourself and your family and your church community...not expect strangers to be compelled by the governmen to take care of you. And I'm tired of everyone thinking they are entitled to ANYTHING. You are entitled to liberty and OPPORTUNITY...you are not entitled to a bunch of free shit.

Also, anyone who thinks the government is doing them a favor by giving them 'free healthcare' well you are just a fool. For everything the government 'gives' you..it takes away so much more. It takes away your incentive to work harder for yourself, it takes away your incentive to QUESTION your politicians, it takes away your job opportunities by killing small business, and it takes away your ability to THINK for yourself. You become so dependent on the government you are nothing more than a yes man while the country goes to hell in a handbasket.
