I just don't think it's possible to make a health care plan that can please the doctors and help all these people to. Also where is the money going to come from? That's right folks the money will come from us to support this. Meaning Obama is going to raise taxes.

So, haven't you noticed everything goes up nothin ever comes down.If the Feds don't raise your taxes the states will and cost of insurance will continue to raise uncontrollably. We can't win might as well try to be healthy while we can.

How about tort reform? Stop the outlandish pay outs on law suits. Rein in the layers and get them out of the doctors office.

I'm just going to say straight out, you, just like every other liberal kool-aid drinker, are fucking stupid.

Obama does not deserve any praise for ANYTHING. Tell me, what has he done so far that has fixed any major problems? Did his stimulus bill even work? No.

I bet you voted for him just because he wasn't a Republican. You, are ignorant. You are a sheep. You don't deserve to live, nor does America deserve your vote.

The years 20072008 saw dramatic increases in world food prices, creating a global crisis and causing political and economical instability and social unrest in both poor and developed nations... As of 2009, food prices have fallen significantly from their earlier highs, although some observers believe this decrease may be temporary.

Oil prices further heightened the costs of fertilizers, food transport, and industrial agriculture.

I am proud to have helped vote oil men and war mongers out of the White House. And I'll say again, there is not a proud Republican alive today who isn't anti-American scum.

Why should we, the taxpayers fund a program that is already funded by the private sector. Instead of our higher taxes to fund a government program, just put some restrictions on the current program. Obama has no problems doing it with the banking industry. Why not implement the same concept for healthcare.

Hi not High

I,ll admit to not following this as closely as I should.
Yes I support all discussion on this topic BUT the u.s. Gov. has an easy record to follow when discussing money and how they spend it.
As much as I,m hating to admit agreeing with the crowd of hard heads who SCREAM socialism and big brother is watching you type behavior I,m, I am , mmmmmmm
Yes I am listening .
The tobacco taxes suck and are illegal .
The future "sin" taxes just reek of WE will do it and SO WHAT there is NOTHING you can say or do to change it.
A lot of weird B.S. going on.
To the above topic YES grocery's go up every time I buy them and these are $ store prices VERY easy to monitor .
BUT according to the Government they will not go up AND that is the reason my s.s.d.i. payment will not go up for 2 yrs.?????????
This state bugs me very bad.
Sunday liquor sales
more and more casino,s opening
more and more lottery promotion
less and less funding for my kids school,s
a flat line on my kids teachers salary,s and budgets
Hmmm My V.A. payments increased my medication cost,s went up , my grocerys went up , my property taxes went up , my insurance went up, our school does not have enough books for the whole class,BUT ssdi stays flat ,I can buy a beer on Sunday though, twice as many lottery tickets, a few more casinos ,mandatory taxes on anything the gov. see,s fit and SOON mandatory health insurance of whatever type the gov. figures out is best SHEW
Lets see from a working mans point of view I remember the MANDATORY tools I had to work with in the navy lol lol They did NOT work and HAD to be replaced by completely different tools that cost twice as much BUT worked lol hmmm GOV. thinking . R.C.

This will be given to the illegals despite what obama says. The good insurance taken away from those who work and given to those who don't want to. It will destroy our country whats left of it. Death panels for old white people will be common place.
The very fact that congress and the senate don't take if for themselves tells you it is no good.

the insurance industry does not need to suck 1/3 of every dollar that should be going into medical care.

I agree, however instead of making it a government monoply lets open it up to compation. Lets get tort reform so that lawyers do not make millions off of other peoples suffueing. Have everyone shop and but their own health insurance just jike car or home owner insurance. Let companies sell across state lines. When peiple have the choice of many different companies the price comes down, not up. When there is only one provider the pirce sky rokets and no one can afford it.

Obviously they are trying to push this bill not because they want to help america, but because they want more control of the United States.

I agree, the health care system is broken. Why do you only blame the Republicans? There is more than enough blame to go around. How about the lawyers who sue because a doctor does not do a certain test? How the doctor who overcharges for a test that was neeedlessly run because of the lawyers who sue him? How about government regulations that conflct with each other and no one understands? How about the father or mother who takes their child to the emergecy room for a broken finger That the doctor is only going to tape up and send them home and tell them not to hit or knock the finger while it heals. There are to many things wrong to just say that we need to turn everything over to one oversized government buarcarcy. To begin with let us make each and every one responsable for their own health care. If you have to pay for the insurannce you have then you will be more aware of the rescitons and the benifits of it because it is what you paid for, not some third party. Second lets get the lawyers out of the doctors offfice. Tort reform and limits on punitive damanges. Demand that doctors practice medinence instead of throwing one test after another at the patient. Get unneccicary government regulations out of medicane. For example I talked to a nurse at a hospital who when ever she gave a shot while obeying federal regulations on giving the shot at the same time was breaking OSHA regulations. This makes no sense. I you break a finger instead of going to the hospital and paying for emergecy services wait and go to the doctors office and pay for a office call. We waste so much money on little things that we do not have it for the big things.
