no, only because the real reason for this health care bill is to cover the 30-40 million illegal immigrants in the U.S.. As soon as this health plan passes, you will see a bill that will pass for complete amnesty for illegal immigrants. It's common sense, that this is going to happen. If there are 7-10 million legal Americans that are not covered, why would they not have those Americans register before and then pass a plan just for them? Because there are 40 million illegal immigrants, and they need a country wide plan! Think this way, When was the last time that our politicians cared, and or helped Legal Americans? Exactly! This is just a cover for amnesty for illegal immigrants.

I'm an RN and understand the system. I also have lived and worked in Canada and Australia and had better healthcare under their public systems than I have had here. I feel that healthcare is like the fire department and public schools - everyone should be covered. I believe in a single payer plan. I've worked with insurance companies. There is a conflict of interest. America also needs a lifestyle makeover! We need to educate people and support healthy lifestyles which includes healthier diet, more exercise, more paid time off to spend on family and close relationships, as well as sustainable environmental practices. Affordable healthcare should not be dependent on your employer. People need the freedom to change jobs without losing affordable healthcare. Exclusion for preexisting conditions is criminal.

I would support it ONLY if abortion coverage is not included in the bill. Health care support should be about saving lives, not destroying them.

The illegals are the hold up for me too. I may buy into single payer if the illegals were flushed out of this Country. And just a side note, we have 9% unemployment but these illegals are still here soaking up the jobs. Why aren't Americans putting those numbers together? Americans could really use those jobs? The illegals have to go!!!
