Those who oppose are ignorant Luddites led by the likes of Beck and Limbaugh

We need to bring down healthcare costs or we will bankrupt our country in the future. One way is to shift the model from only treatment of illness to proactively preventing illness. We need to make health insurance affordable to ALL. We pay for the uninsured anyway through cost shifting and after they have become sicker because they did not have insurance.

Government Health Care is going to fail illegal aliens and abortion providers should not be included. Taxes will be sky high, Ive lived in England, long waits can be expected, elders care is not good.

Everyone deserves to have health care. We need a public option. Our educational system has a public option, do/did your kids/grandkids attend a public school? Or did you send them to a private for profit school?

SURE WE ALL DESERVE A LOT OF THINGS BUT WE DONT GET EVERYTHING WE WANT UNLES WE BUY IT OURSELVES FROM WORKING. I PERSONASLLY THINK WE SHOULD LOWER HEALTH CARE AS WE KNOW IT. NOT BY EVERYONE PAYING FOR THOSE WHO CANT. USUALLY THOSE NOT WORKING ARE ALREADY GETTING 'FREE' HEALTH CARE. lETS TAKE THAT MONEY [WE'LL BE PAYING FROM TAXES] FOR THIS GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE AND TRAIN THOSE NOT WORKING OR WHO DONT GET INSURENCE WHERE THEY ARE WORKING TO BE ABLE TO GET BETTER JOBS WHERE THEY CAN AFFORD INSURANCE, OR IS AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO WANT IT, THROUGH THEIR JOBS. IT WILL BE CHEAPER I CAN TELL YOU, THAN WHAT ITS GOING TO COST US WHEN WE INCLUDE EVERYONE INCLUDING ILLEGALS WHICH IT WILL UNLESS PRES.O DOESNT MAKE THEM ALL CITIZENS AND THEN THEY WILL GET IT ANYWAY.
WHO TOLD YOU IT WONT INCLUDE ILLEGALS?? THEY ARE GETTING IT NOW THROUGH THE EMERGENCY ROOMS DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG YOU WAIT IN THE ER?
WHERE IS THE COUNTRY GOING TO GET THIS 'FREE' HEALTH CARE FROM?? WE DONT HAVE ANY MONEY WE ARE TOO BUSY BAILING OUT THE COMPANIES SO THEY CAN GO ON NICE VACATIONS AND HAVE SEVERAL NICE HOMES AND BONUSES. I CANT IMAGINE WE ARE IN DEBT FOR OVER A TRILLION NOW. THATS COMING OUT OF MINE AND YOURS POCKETS THERE IS NO OTHER PLACE!!

mY GRANDKIDS WENT TO PRIVATE CHURCH SCHOOL THANK GOD ID HATE TO SEE THEM IN PUBLIC SCHOOL TODAY! THEY CAN LEARN TO WORSHIP THE PRES. AND LEARN THAT THEY COME FROM EITHER A BIG BANG OR SLIME OR ANIMALS. THATS THE REASON WE HAVE SO MUCH TROUBLE IN SCHOOLS AND ELSEWHERE TODAY THEY HAVENT BEEN TAUGHT RIGHT OR WRONG, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, THEY HAVE A LOVING GOD WHO THINKS THEY ARE SPECIAL INSTEAD OF NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO HAVE WORTH OR THAT LIFE IS A VAUBLE GIFT NOT SOMETHING TO END ABRUPTLY IN A TRASH CAN BECAUSE THEY ARE DISPOSIBLE.

Tell me oh wise one who is paying for this 'free' Health Care? This country who is in so much debt and the dollar is so devalued its practicly worth nothing. Wait till he makes the change to another currency like when the pound changed to euro, you'll get the devalued amount of the dollar to exchange!

You are obviously as clueless as to what's in this 2000 page monstrosity with it's unsustainable costs as the congressional morons that are voting on it. If you think the true reasons for this bill are for the welfare of you and me, you should really get out in the real world more often. This is nothing more than the biggest power grab in history, which will single handedly destroy the economy of this nation. When you finally realize the true costs of "Hope and change", I hope you are back in your padded room, to avoid hurting yourself.

The plan is not well conceived and does damage to the existing system. System reform should be done in stages that clearly eliminates fraud, creates competition between HMO in different states, mandates affordable availability to everyone, provides a health insurance voucher depending on taxable income, and does not involve creation of an ineffective government program. The elimaination of 500 billion from the medicare system will create a real mess for the aging population of the US. The democrates are true socialists and this country is in deep trouble going forward. They all need to be removed from office. They are not listening to the public that has elected them. Good Luck

I wish I had health insurance...going to the ER isn't the best thing for me to be doing. But I don't have a choice since I am uninsured.

I am a small business owner and fear that the proposed health care bill will have a terrible effect on my company and my ability to expand and grow when the economy turns around. Wrong bill at the wrong time

obama needs to listen to the republican party suggestions for the health bill. he is way off base with his ideas for our country.
