All legal Americans have the "Right" to quality healthcare. The insurance companies need to be controlled from restricting care from the sick and poor.

Health care reform is necessary to sustain and improve the U.S. economy. Middle America, primarily Republicans, are ignorant to the situation that the cost of healthcare will soon be over 50% of household income...who can afford that and who can afford it now!

Too rushed. More thought needed by all sides. Issue of illegals needs to be solved first. Obama as a former constitutional lawyer knows that if a law passes that benefits all citizens, illegals are included. He lies when he says that illegals will not benefit.

Pretty arbitrary to think that only a certain party is ignorant. Please don't tell Obama what comes after a Trillion.

Do all "legal" americans have the "right" to drive without car insurance or without a seat belt. How about engaging in an activity of your own choosing that threatens your health and thus costs us all more money. Where is the right for all of us to have to bear the cost of such behavior. Have you ever been in an emergency room during cold season? Think that might be abusive to the system? How about child nearing costs that are free to some? THINK people. I sick of paying every other persons way!!

We have had over 40 years to do something about
health care, how much time do you need ?
At this pace we will all be dead of old age.
It will pass, we have to change our current path
or we will fall behind. Greed has caused the problem along with a lack of compassion for
our fellow man.
We are the wealthiest nation on earth
We can afford it.
.. You support the denying of Healthcare to people without means or denying for pre-existing conditions to improve corporate profits.. You support the idea of children starving, because you don't support any government sponsored welfare..
It's you that insists on calling people murderers instead of looking for solutions to reducing abortions.
Socialism is only an economic theory, look it up. There are varying degrees to socialism.. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, any form of welfare.. All socialism.. Republican's bitched and moaned when they were passed.. Now is the time, like it or not!

The fact that people in the USA are still dieing from diseases not because they are un-treatable is mind numbing. US health care isn't better then what they have in Europe but it's twice as expensive.

I dont pay a penny, employer floats the dime, and I not only get access to normal western medicine (which is a scam) but also insured for chiropractic care, acupuncture etc!

And you? What disease are you dying from? And why do you think I am dying from one?

I thought amerikans were the ones that were mostly ignorant, thanks for changing that view a little

If your employer didn't have to rely on covering YOUR medical cost.... They could pay you more AND hire more people.........

HC Reform would be a HUGE boom to small, medium, and large businesses. Even Toyota is moving factories into Canada because of less taxes and less medical cost.

Also... do you know that MORE people die from not being covered than DUIs and homicide combined?

http://www.reuters.com/article/healthNews/idU...

"WASHINGTON (Reuters)- Nearly 45,000 people die in the United States each year -- one every 12 minutes -- in large part because they lack health insurance and can not get good care, Harvard Medical School researchers found in an analysis released on Thursday.

"We're losing more Americans every day because of inaction ... than drunk driving and homicide combined," Dr. David Himmelstein, a co-author of the study and an associate professor of medicine at Harvard, said in an interview with Reuters.

Overall, researchers said American adults age 64 and younger who lack health insurance have a 40 percent higher risk of death than those who have coverage."

The USA is letting people die without health care
do to the Repub (Lie) Con party.
Greed, corporate profits and a lack of moral & companionate ways, to its people, the Republicans are trying their best to stop from insuring the poor & middle class
In the richest country in the world, who can afforded it, 40 million are left to hang out to dry and defend on their own.
Scrooge republicans with their vast sums of wealth, to stingy, to let go & let live the less fortunate due to sickness.

Health care is not a right. A right is something each of us is born with and does not come from anyone else. Heath care comes for other people and is a commodity.

Read the actual study, what it DOESNT include is people like me. Who CHOOSE to have no insurance.

I will be forced to with Obamacare. Which my friend, is un-constitutional. And if its out of date. Amend it. all this pussy-footing have legal BS needs to stop!

Both parties are corrupt and need to be purged of all the non patriots, which I fear is most :(

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Cancer

Take it easy today, or the most insignificant things will get you down in no time. A difficult letter in the post, or a tricky conversation with a loved one, will sink your spirits down to your ankles. Ugh. Life is not as tough as it seems right now, so keep reminding yourself that we can choose to feel better. A bar of delicious chocolate, or a tasty savoury snack might help a little, too...
