What most people don't know about "manditory" health insurance, just a small detail of Obama's health care plan is this:
Manditory means by law you must purchase health insurance. Everyone who doesn't have insurance will be required by law to purchase it. Qualified low income persons or families can get Gov't help to pay thier premiums.

Check out what happened in Massachusetts with their "manditory health" plan.

The individual mandate is a requirement that all Massachusetts residents over the age of 18, for whom available health insurance is affordable, obtain and maintain health insurance that meets minimum coverage requirements beginning July 1, 2007.

Individuals who cannot show proof of health insurance coverage by Dec. 31, 2007, will lose their personal income tax exemption when filing their 2007 income taxes. Also, failure to meet the requirement in 2008 will result in a fine for each month the individual does not have coverage.

But we can afford billions for a stupid war that "WE WILL NEVER WIN" right? pathetic response.. If we can pay to kill we can pay to cure.. The thing is, the healthcare in this country America is destroyed.. We have Insurance companies running the show, they are the ones who say you get this treatment or this MRI, CT scan X-ray etc.. They're the fungus that are killing our American people.. And the doctors here are just plain greedy they care only about the dollar, they don't give a rats ass about human life.. So the hell with the ones who only do the job for the Dollar..
We need a system like Canada.

Whom is going to pay for it and why should I support everyone else as I already do -- I work hard and am lucky to still have a job in this economy, but to tell people that don't have the money or jobs that it is required that you have insurance or we will fine you and whom is going to pay for it?

MOVE to Canada. When I was young I often heard an expression directed towards people who ran off at the mouth without first engaging their brains. The expression was - GO SOAK YOUR HEAD. The Constitution of the United States provides that the ferderal govenment take care of national defense which would include Obama's war in Afganistan. It does not provide for the federal government to take my tax money and redistribute it to others.

Health care reform is needed, but not a Gov't run plan! We need a watch dog office to provide no kidding oversight if we could find anyone in politics not beholding to their election contirbutors! Has not and will not happen! Change- yeah right, business as usual!

I have Medicare and I also have a life long mental disability. I can not afford to lose any of my benefits or services offered. I will not be able to pay for my medication, shelter, dr's appts., or emergencies if Medicare is altered in any way. I think it is also bad for the economy right now!!

Medicare Advantage Plans for seniors and those with disabilities. Please read:
I just visited a Website that helps seniors and the disabled send messages to our legislators asking them to oppose cuts to my Medicare program, called Medicare Advantage. Please join me in supporting efforts to protect Medicare Advantage because this Medicare coverage is important to me and I would appreciate your help. Simply visit http://www.humanapartners.com . The Website makes it quick and easy to ask Congress to oppose funding cuts. You may also call this toll free number.(877) 698-9228.

P.S.-You do not have to be a member of Humana to edit a letter to Congress. Just visit the site or call the number. Thanks,

There is too much controversy at this time to suport a bill blindly! We need to take a closer look at the options. and NOT allow the automatic inclusion of "Public Option" which is simply Soclailst government run health care. Oh, and the Pork usually added to ALL bills must be looked at carefully!
