because everybody should be entitled to have insurance not just the elite like Marsha Blackburn. She should be embarassed for the job she does

1.) I don't need more government running anything. They fail on everything they run. Many people made the choice NOT to buy into health care. And there is no Free anything. When all the people that work decide they want a free ride who is going to pay? Leave health care alone.

Why should I pay for health care for illegals,
maybe for kids and seniors who are not covered.
Current health care from your employer will be taxed and you get to pay it. If it is in the yellow pages government should not be involved, that is how you promote competition and keep prices low.

A government-run public option has much lower overhead than private insurance. People opposed to a public option would change their minds if they had the chance to live in a country with a public option. There is too much misinformation spread by parties with vested interests.

I've lived in several countries with single-payer systems (Italy, Japan, Korea, Taiwan). The wait time to see a doctor was much shorter than in the U.S.; I could visit any doctor and any hospital, unlike the U.S., with its confusing systems of network doctors and clinics. Best of all, the price was affordable for all.

I'm not asking for free healthcare. I want to pay for it. But I'd rather pay a non-profit branch of government for it than a for-profit private insurance company.

I do not support obama's health care plan as it will bankrupt country faster than his other current plans are.

Reform may be needed but not by government takeover. Their intentions may be well meant but their track record shows they do NOT know how to run anything that will not cost us BILLIONS.
