The three Doctors in my own family tell me the Obama plan is a good plan and is not socialism.

The only ones complaining about the health plan are those that have not read it and the CEO's of the Insurance Industry. The CEO's of the Insurance Industry do not like it because instead of making a hundred million a year they will only make 80 million a year. I feel so sad for them because they will have to cut back on private Jet ownership lol

The right thing to do is have the health care universal so everyone has insurance through a private company of their choice because all the uninsured end up not paying Doctors and Hospitals and by the time they get treatment they are very sick from lack of preventative care and that costs all of us a thousand bucks a year as it is now. 300 million people times one thousand dollars each.

Most of us will stay with the insurance we have now and of the 50 million uninsured, those with pre existing will be able to buy at regular rates and the self employed will not have to pay double for insurance while those below poverty level that are not insured will get a voucher card in which they will pay a premium based on what they earn which is fair. Almost everyone will have to pay unless unemployed. Even disabled will have to pay what they can afford.

This plan will save all of us money and it is not going to add to the deficit because the bill will make it against the law for it to add to the deficit.

It is a good plan so let us get it while we can before a future president tries to give us socialized medicine. I know what socialized medicine is and this is not what this plan is.

Socialized medicine is where the Government takes over all areas and Doctors get a paycheck from the Government which is not much. The Doctors in my family would not support this plan if it were socialized medicine. They worked hard to become Doctors and they deserve to make good pay with less malpractice to pay for. A regular primary Doctor does not take home that much money when you add taxes and all the insurance they have to pay. Most Doctors make much less than Accountants. My sister started out as a primary and she was making 125k a year while her Accountant makes 250k. She went back to College to specialize in oncology and now makes a good living.

My sister does not mind paying more taxes under Obama because she now makes over 500k. She will not be taxed on the first 250k and only see a slight tax increase on money made over that. It is not like she makes 10 million a year where the bigger tax increase hits. My sister does not even have 10 million dollars yet.

Very good propaganda sounds just like it came straight from the senate. What a moron please read some of the bill and ask where does the money to pay for the lazy bastards that won't work come from? Get real and spout the lies in congress or some other equaly brainless forum.

OBAMACARE ENDORSEMENTS: WHAT THE BRIBE WAS

Here are the deals:
* The American Medical Association (AMA) was facing a 21 percent cut in physicians’ reimbursements under the current law. Obama promised to kill the cut if they backed his bill. The cuts are the fruit of a law requiring annual 5-6 percent reductions in doctor reimbursements for treating Medicare patients. Bravely, each year Congress has rolled the cuts over, suspending them but not repealing them. So each year, the accumulated cuts threaten doctors. By now, they have risen to 21 percent. With this blackmail leverage, Obama compelled the AMA to support his bill…or else!

* The AARP got a financial windfall in return for its support of the healthcare bill. Over the past decade, the AARP has morphed from an advocacy group to an insurance company (through its subsidiary company). It is one of the main suppliers of Medi-gap insurance, a high-cost, privately purchased coverage that picks up where Medicare leaves off. But President Bush-43 passed the Medicare Advantage program, which offered a subsidized, lower-cost alternative to Medi-gap. Under Medicare Advantage, the elderly get all the extra coverage they need plus coordinated, well-managed care, usually by the same physician. So more than 10 million seniors went with Medicare Advantage, cutting into AARP Medi-gap revenues.

* The drug industry backed ObamaCare and, in return, got a 10-year limit of $80 billion on cuts in prescription drug costs.(A drop in the bucket of their almost $3 trillion projected cost over the next decade.) They also got administration assurances that it will continue to bar lower-cost Canadian drugs from coming into the U.S. All it had to do was put its formidable advertising budget at the disposal of the administration.

* Insurance companies got access to 40 million potential new customers. But when the Senate Finance Committee lowered the fine that would be imposed on those who don’t buy insurance from $3,500 to $1,500, the insurance companies jumped ship and now oppose the bill, albeit for the worst of motives.

1. It won't work and can't work. The numbers don't pencil out.

2. Congress is exempting themselves from the Bill. If they don't want it, why should we?

3. No Tort reform. None. As a matter of fact it penalizes states for having any meaningful reform. Democrats have been bought and paid for with our money.

No allowance to buy insurance between states? Why not let people shop anywhere for the insurance they want.

No equalization of tax treatment for individually bought policies. That alone would solve the portability problem.

4. It's Unconstitutional. Congress has no authority to force citizens to purchase any product merely to be a citizen.

5. The government is incompetent. They have no incentive to be efficient, so they're not. Social Security, broke. Medicare, broke. Medicaid, broke. And we're going to let these idiots run everyone's health care?

6. It hasn't nothing to do with health care. This is a naked power grab by the government from the private sector. That means you. The entire process has been the most cynical, dishonest I've seen this government do in my lifetime.

7. It will dictate the kind of coverage I must have. What business is it of theirs?

This is your liberty folks. Don't let power mad fools take over your life and drive you, you're children and this country into poverty.

you all are just -- what --

can you not think for yourself --

1. who is paying for this you and I the ones that are still working!

2. I already pay for people on welfare what is the difference

3. If you can't afford health insurance now and the government makes you pay do I have to pay for you since you are not working?

4. My grandparents came here legally -- so I have to pay for someone whom is illegaly?

5. and if I get sick the government can take away my insurance as they see fit

welcome to the new America the land of the UNFREE!!

Republicans want our President to fail......So think about it they want our Country to fail if they want our President to fail. They are the part of NO....Unless it has to do with saving the rich people money and then they are all for it. I love it when Republicans show the bill and they got about 4 or 5 bills stacked high to make it look like its the whole bill...Come on people "Obama saved this country from being demolished our system was on the verge of crashing.....Bush made all of his money and got out....just like all of the rest of the Lying Republicans..

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Virgo

Someone wants a favor from you, so be ready for a not-so-subtle play on your sympathy. Expect a big song and dance about not being very well, or sad complaints about all the chores, as though you don't have enough of your own to cope with. If you agree to help, do so out of the goodness of your heart rather than because you've been manipulated into it.
