do people think government healthcare is going to be better than the VA or medicare? how about how well social security is doing and how solvent it will be when i retire? i dont think its a good idea. especially since i will be paying for my insurance, taxed for keeping insurance and then taxed for other people to have this insurance.

Why has not one of these "leaders" stated that he or she will sign up for the same health care plan they are proposing for us instead of the premium ones they have and will carry after they retire and for their families.

This sounds like "Let Them Eat Cake"

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) puts the new health care bill of Nancy Pelosi and harry reed under the O’Bama plan at over 1 trillion dollars in its first year and growing after that. To pay for this people under the age of 35 will see their payroll taxes increase 8-12 percent. The elderly will have a charge put on any pacemakers, artificial knees, hips or prosthesis (artificial limbs) they may need.

This bill is a big crock of lies and BS.

This same title "Health Care Debate - " with the name of a town is coming out on all the TOPIX city blogs.

Who is sending it? Are they trying to get a feel of what the mood of the people are?

Single payer makes the most sense. What value do insurance companies add? None.
