All sick people deserve affordable health care. And the distribution of wealth has gotten ridiculous. http://sociology.ucsc.edu/whorulesamerica/pow...

In NO PLACE of the U.S. Constitution is the United States authorized to become involved, legislate, or otherwise interfere in the entirely PRIVATE matter of a citizen's medical care.
.
Further to that is this, by the author if the U.S. Constitution:
———
James Madison, the Father of the Constitution, elaborated upon this limitation in a letter to James Robertson:

"With respect to the two words "general welfare," I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them.

"To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators.

"If the words obtained so readily a place in the "Articles of Confederation," and received so little notice in their admission into the present Constitution, and retained for so long a time a silent place in both, the fairest explanation is, that the words, in the alternative of meaning nothing or meaning everything, had the former meaning taken for granted."

~ James Madison, the Father of the Constitution, elaborated upon this limitation in a letter to James Robertson:n ~

“…[T]he government of the United States is a definite government, confined to specified objects. It is not like the state governments, whose powers are more general. Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government.”

-James Madison

"If Congress can do whatever in their discretion can be done by money, and will promote the General Welfare, the Government is no longer a limited one, possessing enumerated powers, but an indefinite one...."

- James Madison, letter to Edmund Pendleton, January 21, 1792.
———
And there you have it: If the AUTHOR of the Constitution couldn't find ANY valid purchase to disburse federal monies for private well-being, then the current deceit is COMPLETELY without validity.

Well then you should be able to get medicare, medicaid and VA hospitals declared unconstitutional. If the patients don't have you assasinated first.

I have a job for you ......

Everytime someone is not covered by insurance and cannot afford insurance in our country, and has a treatable, but otherwise fatal disease, YOU get to be the guy who walks up and says, "Sorry sucka, you are going to DIE!!!"

When can you report for work?

Keep in mind, you yourself are one serious injury or illness away from being denied medical insurance, losing everything to pay for medical treatment only to live to pay off a mountain of debt.

That sure sounds like a good plan you got for yourself there, bucky!!

If a complete stranger is injured on the side of the road. I will help them. Even if I have to pay to do it. It is simply the right thing to do. Something I am certain you know nothing about.

I didn't say I would do it. Nor did I entdorse it. I merely pointed out the current patients would likely act in their own best interests.

However, I certainly wouldn't blame them and would be happy to see them kick your sorry ass.

You go, Oogah Boogah! I'm glad that someone is pointing out to the nay sayers their grave irresponsibility by putting their partisan ideology before the most basic needs of their own people.

The long-term economic prospects of failing to reform health care is more catastrophic than the current cost of it.

The current health care system is nothing more than a bunch of "for-profit" death-panels comprised of insurance company executives.

I have trouble believing there won't be enough money available to pay for all of universal health care simply by taking insurance companies out of the mix and using the insurance premiums to pay for health care directly.

I'd like to see some numbers on that possiblility.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Taurus

Someone simply isn't being realistic or practical today, Taurus. He or she seems to be lost in a dream world of wishful thinking and idealism, none of which has much to do with what's really going on. Unfortunately, they won't want to hear any of this and may even manipulate the situation so they don't have to listen to your opinions. Be careful when dealing with this character and try not to get sucked into this desire to escape reality at all costs.
