Support the loss of freedom of healthcare? Are you kiddin me? That sob of a so called president we have today means nothing about "care" in helathcare. His speech was nothing but manipulative mockery to the public. I see right through Obama. I DO NOT and will NEVER support a liar and a hypocrite.

Let's face it, there is no way to provide universal coverage for every person in America. There is a better solution: universal health care denial. It's simple, it's cheap and everyone gets treated equally!

We are already paying a subsidy by providing service through hospitals and then having the hospitals charge us more for the write offs. Putting this money into early care and treatments will divert people away from hospitals and lower that cost and not to mention reduce the waits in emergency rooms. I would rather see health care administered efficently than the way it is now. In addition, electronic universal medical records is something that should exist now and would save money. All people should have a basic level of insurance available to them if for any other reason than to lower the overall costs of health care by catching and treating diseases and conditions earlier. I believe that the structure of the proposals could be changed to provide more incentive for individuals to manage their own care properly, but that is something that may have to come later.

The criminals will run the health care system with the same incompetence they have dealt with H1N1. They had all summer and suddenly now it is a national emergency and they have the population scared ...less. Then they put out a vaccine that no trusts and no where near enough, and it's too late on top of that. Expect him to blame Bush for the virus soon.
I'm warning you, don't let the fools run health care or we will all loose.
Anyway Opee is on his 24th round of golf, and Michelle is still sucking up the benefits big time.

The morons in Washington will run your health care with the same stupidity they have run H1N1. These fools had all summer to prepare. Now they mix up some magic potion that they are late on and making excuses. They'll blame Cheney and Bush for the H1N1.
eff these losers.
Throw the criminals from Chicago out of Washington and prosecute them for crimes against the American people. They are scum.

This country is in desperate need of health care reform. If we need to go to the extreme to wind up in the middle, then so be it.

Well, I know your alot smarter than your own president, who worked tremendously hard to get where he is. But the guy has only been in office for not even a year, he hasn't had a chance to make good on all his promises yet. I'm sure he would if the American people would let him. You vote him in, say you want change, which is the right idea after what happened to your economy, then when he brings change you say no. What a dysfunctional country you have. It's kind of sad. It shouldn't even be an issue. There's alot of tax payer money used for financing US wars and there was hardly any resistance to that. But when the gov't wants to spend money on helping people as a pose to hurting people, there is a huge outcry. If the war in Iraq was stopped, the money financing the war alone could pay for public healthcare in the US. It really comes down to a moral issue, not an economical one. Do you want to help people or kill them?

First, president are selected not elected.

Second, Obama said he will troops out from Iraq and Afghanistan. HE IS SENDING MORE!!!!

Third, Obama said no new taxes for the middles class. HE APPROVED NEW TAXES FOR THE MIDDLES CLASS!!!!

Fourth, Obama said he was against the Patriot Act. GUESS WHAT HE APPROVED IT!!!!

This country is doomed if nothing is done. The last REAL president this country had was John F. Kennedy.

Obama was elected because Bush failed to govern as a conservative. He spent like any liberal.
So people chose the other party. Even though both are almost identical these days. Both spend our money, inflate government and increase deficits.
Obama is not qualified to run this country. 2- year senator...come on.
He is trying to do too much at once.
Focus on economy, and the wars going on.
Maybe try and improve health care system in future. But not let the government run it.
