I'm against any goverment take over of healthcare. They have screwed up every program they have run (SS, education, medicare etc. There are things that can be done to bring down healthcare cost but it not what the Dems are pushing.

I realize that this may not be the perfect solution to healthcare but kudos to Obama for attempting to implement change. The healthcare as it exists is a greedy little industry that needs to be regulated.

because I care about health of everyone here in savannah and the rest of U.S. The same argument against health care that one lisens to is the same argument used in past reform bills. If it were not for true members of congress and residing President at those times who truly had the intrest of the people that elected them in mind,we would not have Social Security and Medicare benefits we share today. If you think the health of the citizens of this nation is a deficit you've been reading and lisening to are true enemies. P.S. there are alot of dirty shepharts watching clean sheep???

Because I care about the health of the people in Savannah and the rest of our nation. The same argument against health care has been brought up before and if it were not for true members of congress and the residing President at these previous times, who truly had the intrests of the people that elected them to office we would not have Social Security and Medicare benefits we share today. If you think the health is adeficit, you're reading and lisening to the wrong authors. Ahealthy nation like a garden will always prosper.

there are too many people without health care that can not afford it. Most of them pay taxes and or have paid taxes when and if they were working. Just ask the jobless

The government can't even explain with accuracy where the stimulus monies went, how in the world they are oing to manage the healthcare of this country. Look at the Post office . They can't even improve post office services . We will see our taxes go up and the middle class, as always panalized .

there are far more people without health care in america who really need it than there are those with health care. i would rather have some coverage than none. Its an option.you either take it or get your own. whats the big deal!

do you call social security a benefit? you have to pay into it every paycheck. you see what a good job the govt. did managing it.
we wouldn't have ever had to have it if people managed their money properly. i bet i won't get 1/2 of what i paid into it back.

Prove the ability to solve difficult social issues by fixing SS without a tax increase. health care needs fixing. There are several components that government in past legislation contributed to the problem. Fix these first. Observe effects - fix tweak the pot holes. Go on to the next issue, one at a time. Omnibus is no solution.

Daily Horoscope for December 17

Leo

If you're going to a festive party or gathering today you'll have a great time. It will be good to see some old faces and nice to meet some new ones. Don't be shy about breaking the ice if you spot someone you'd like to know better, as with Mars in your sign dancing with Venus in fiery Sagittarius, bells will ring and fires light up. Get the last of those Christmas cards out of the way now, so they're not on your conscience.
