If we can afford anything, we can afford to care for our fellow human beings. Even at a personal cost to ourselves.

Don't get all hoity-toity with me. I'm your conscience. Besides, there's no such thing as change in government, unless, of course, you're speaking of change for the worst. And we are getting that. But we're getting the government controll too. So, you see, you little twit, we're getting two things for the price of a gillion. Not bad.

I was just pandering to your juvenile side. I did laugh out loud at that response though. The anonymous posting on message boards is quite amusing as people who normally could not carry on a conversation, let along an intelligent one, now have a medium to voice their opinion. As annoying as that may be.... GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH How close are we to being able to use that again?

Americans need a better/more affordable health care. Insurance companies have played the greed card for the past 20 years, enough! We need change soon. We need to do something different & President Obama's health proposal is a leap onto the right path. Obama's plan is that hopeful start to a much need change.

How about allow competition across state lines, seems to me, you do that one thing. Could change a lot for the good. But why do that when we can have the gov just control everything! duh
