I do not want a government controlled health care system - I want a free enterprise system with competition. Allow purchase over state lines and tort reform would solve many of America's woes.

I want to have control of my own health and well-being. Can you imagine Govt. control of this? ANY kind of Govt. decision to cut costs would HAVE to result in cutback of good health care. Maybe forced immunizations, forced procedures, Govt. having access to ALL medical records? What if there was an error in your medical record? What if you smoked as a teen...what happens to your health care as an adult..are you high-risk? TOO many unanswered questions, too much Govt. oversight....TOO COSTLY in more ways than one.

This will always be an ongoing battle. Those that have health care want to keep it just like it is. But the rest that don't have any will continue to ask for gov. run care. Any kind is better than no kind.
