Health Care is broken!

I oppose Obama's plan because it's a massive giveaway to the health industry! President Obama has turned on those who worked tirelessly to elect him because they had HOPE for CHANGE! He's thrown out the public option and basically pandered to the far right and moderates, for what? Now we have a huge mess of a bill which ultimately continues to feed the real monster and downfall of this country, GREED! I believed Obama really cared about average America, but he proves me wrong day by day!

You really need to get informed with the truth and not just the republican prpoganda machine! President Obama is for the American people that is why he is trying to insure EVERYONE can get proper healthcare.

Everyone should be able to get decent healthcare!

For too long this nation has been without healthcare covered for its citizens. It is ironic and synical that most of the people that are opposing health care reform are senior citizens, many whom enjoy the benefits of a government run health care program, known as Medicare. Get the facts, be educated and stop being selfish, which is very much unAmerican. If we can spend billions and tillions on a war that should have never been wage, then we can spend the amount of funds necessary to take care of the basic needs of the citizens in this country. I pray that health care reform is passed and that includes a government run health care option. This will be fair for millions of Americans that have been dropped by their private insurance who do not accept pre-existing conditions or drops you when you have been diagnosed with a serious illness. Stop being a "biggot" which is unAmerican and share the responsibility for ALL to be cover for health care services.

Incarcerated child molesters have health care. The elderly have health care. The very poor and disabled have health care. I however do not....I work, but can't afford the very high premiums, You need to educate yourself on the facts Dana

Yeah you do not see anybody standing up and complaining about the murderers and rapist having healthcare, room , and board at the expense of taxpayers money but God forbid any money go toward honest citizens having health insurance. These people are sorry excuses for human beings

Democracy is all about a free market setting prices not a government controlled company trying to control prices.

If the goverment can go into the insurance business and try to drive prices for insurance down it will set a dangerous precedent.

A precedent meaning a government company can be established to compete with any business in America: McDonalds, Fisher-Price, Ford Motor Company, IBM etc. These goverment run companies could set prices so low that the competition will be driven out of the market, unable to make a profit. Then the government will control all of the markets and we all will be working for the government.

In other words it destroys the free market of capitalism. This could lead to the distruction of democracy because eventually the goverment will not only set prices but contol the markets.

That's Socialism! Just one step away from Communism!

It's a threat to Democracy and individual freedom. It's a threat to the incentive to work hard and achieve in order to gain wealth.

We must REJECT OBAMA'S PLAN TO DESTROY DEMOCRACY!!!!! Join with Democrats, Independents and Republicans who want to preserve our freedom from Government interference at our Rally in Matthews NC Oct. 10 at Matthews Festival Park.

The system is corrupt, Im still wondering why we all had to start paying for our insurance. I have worked at my job for 13 years, the first 8 I paid nothing for insurance. My dad worked at the same place for 34 years and NEVER paid for his insurance. Somebody got a greedy idea I guess? Its the same type question as to why did gas go up $4 per gal.in price? Greed!! These greedy people have started all this...

The government has had to step in to stop all the thieving, book cooking capitolist..
