The government has proven itself to fail at everything it does at the expense of the taxpayer. We don't need another lesson in the governments failures.

Considering we're a country that can't even decide globally wether domestic couples should have rights; we'll do really well with global healthcare.

It is corruption. Both parties, Democrats and Republicans are at fault. Obama continued with Bush's policies and is getting the country into deeper shi*. He doesn't know how to fix the problems we have.

The government has screwed up social security. All I can see are more taxes taxes taxes, aid for illegals, less assistance for the elderly and more government control. Obama believes in abortion, killing the elderly, supporting illegals, allowing terrorist into our country. Americans need to find another planet to live on.

I believe every American is entitled to health care. I support the public option/single payer.

It gives goverment too much control in my Health Care. I also don't agree that congress iw unwilling to be on the same plan they want for all americans. Shame on congress.

I am in agreement that we need health care reform; I'm not all together sure that a public option is necessary as co-ops may address the same need to control costs. I think we need to adopt a system of health care very similar to that used in the Netherlands.

There are millions of these parasites in the country ILLEGALLY, milking off the system. People complain and complain, but they don't bother to look at the problem from the bottom.

This bill is too costly, way too much Govt control over our lives, interference with Dr, patient relationship and don't be fooled. This is the first step to single payer socialist medicine. Having already been a "victim" of the Feds involved in my healthcare (Fed workers comp), I can guarantee a fiasco, limited care, denials, long waits and way too many non-health care administrators deciding what my dr can and cannot do. Health Care reform that is not done responsibly will end up even worse off than it is now. Other options are out there, but the Democrats don't want to hear them because they are in this for not just HC reform, but for more Gov't power in our lives.

it is not the place of the federal government to get involved in the provision of services. This is not a Constitutionally mandated role.

The roles of the Federal government are defined by the Constitution. There is no provision in that document for the Feds to run businesses and provide services to individual citizens.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Libra

Someone is shooting from the hip today, making them irascible and all too liable to fly off the handle. Be very wary about provoking them into further outbursts, particularly where the vexed topics of money and sex are concerned. If you're trying to sort out a financial problem you will also be prone to losing your rag and banging your fist on the table. But will that help?
