Socialism sucke so does Obama and his plan. Lower costs by removing mandatory hospital service for freeloaders.

I want the government out of my life

As I said Before but topix counted as a support I emphaticaly oppose government controlled health care.

Every US citizen deserves health care. Every citizen should get the same care afforded a president, congress person or senator. If not, it is classist health care discrimination. And discrimination is against the law, isn't it? Used to be.

One's economic resources should not dictate whether one lives or dies of a disease. If we are the civil and caring society we say we are, then we do not demonstrate health care discrimination to any member of our society.

Everyone that does not eat will die so you are saying it should be free to walk into a store and just take the food. If no one works there are no goods or services to be obtained. and those that won't work should be rewarded by the people that are working hard to provide for their families. How socialist is that? If you want more food,cloths toys or whatever you need more money how do you get more money. according to you you take it from the people that are working to earn it.It is not charity when it is forced it is socialism and I am a worker but when other idiots are willing to provide for me without any effort on my part I will probably quit working and live off the idiots willing to provide it free.

1. Very hard-working and deserving people who lose their jobs and insurance benefits are still deserving of health care. They are not idiots, they simply lost their jobs and we all know how prevalent that is today.

What does health care really have to do with having or losing a job? It is a very important benefit availed to those in unions and other forums and is extremely valuable-but times have changed.

2. There are now and have been for years people getting health care for "free" for many years in this nation. It appears that the middle income workers now losing jobs find themselves unable to qualify for free care yet unable to afford health coverage for treatable conditions.

3. Upper income citizens, as well as middle income citizens should not be denied the ability to secure medical care in one of the wealthiest nations in the world. One's ability to secure employment with medical benefits should not be tied to one's ability to remain alive and viable. Assumig we do have the greatest medical system in the world. everyone should have equal access to live their best lives with their best health.

Otherwise we are practicing discrimination...against the unemployed, the recently laid-off, innocent citizens-children,babies,elder ly. If, as citizens, we want to uplift every citizen, and want to see every American realize their ptential, we must offer them every health opportunity available to Presidents, Congressmen and Senators.

I, for one, refuse to participate in discrimination against other Americans.

It is immoral, unethical...and just plain wrong.

I repeat socialism only benefits the lazy and eventualy the people working to supply the FREE care etc. will quit and become recepiants of Free care eventualy no one will be working to support the laze. Remember if you don't eat you die so lets make food free as well.I don't want to freeze to death either so heat should be free, I don't want to be in the dark electricity should be free. I want to be on the receiving end of all the freebies so compasionate people like you can support me.

This term "socialism" is being tossed around, as though the present system is so great. I am not pro-socialism. For that matter, I am not pro-Capitalism either.

If you are a working person, you are not doing well. In fact, you haven't been doing well for a couple of decades. 10 years ago, bluecollar workers suffered with medical premiums. Today the situation is considerably worse.

Oh no, the plight of bluecollar workers has NOTHING TO DO WITH LAZINESS, and everything to do with a system that has been corrupted by greed.

RIGHT NOW, you won't have to look very far to find some HARD WORKING person who, literally, LABORS at work and is dead tired (spiritually tired), AND they are ill and cannot afford to go to the doctor. They need medical attention, or whatever is in them could conceivably turn into cancer or some other debilitating condition. What's worse is that THEY KNOW that without medical attention, they will have a very uncertain future of painful illness along with horrible living conditions.

What's worse is that many of these people have learned to walk around with a 1000 pound anvil hanging over their heads. Oh yeah, they fear dying young and are overwhelmed.

If we had the cumbersome socialist system SOME of you put down, many of the poor souls I just talked about could be helped!

Period.

If you disagree, then tell me how the present system can help the HARDWORKING (not lazy) masses who have not options other than to live in fear.

Give me an answer, not a wise-ass remark.

These socialist creaps sre destroying this country. Let the lazy people get jobs and pay their own way stop taxing toe working people to take care of the lazy. Sooner or later the workers will get tired and become part of the privlidged lazy and let the government take care of us too. Only problem when we all stop working who will be paying the bills?

Did you ever think if we didn't have a system that begged for abuse like rediculious lawsuits, and protection of bad doctors we might have lower costs. there are many people that do not have insurance by choice. It is cheaper to take your chnaces and worst case the hospitals have to give you service no matter what. I say let the hospitals turn away no emergency life threatening cases. and be able to force those they do treat to pay by putting leans on their property. If more people are paying in there will be a reduction in individual costs.Lets be real if you don't eat you will die should the farmers be made to provide free food, Why pay at the grocery store? Simple if there is no gain in owning a store you close it. If it does not benefit him why would a farmer grow more than he needs? Here is a simple 4plan to fix medical care.
1. Limit lawsuits to maximium remaining lifetime possible earnings.and cap lawyer benefits from such suits.
2. No exclusions by insurance companise But they can charge extra for anyone jumping on a policy because the now need it but have not paid in before.
3. Allow hospitals just like other buisness to refuse service except life threatening emergencies, And they can demand payment for those services..
I don't have anopther 1990 pages worth but I am sure there are some other ideas that would help. Even if everyone in this forum came up with a list we could never get near the crap floating in congress today.

What are you talking about. Stop calling people "lazy". As a matter of fact, I work with lots of people who work hard, and they have never benefited from a system that has gotten significantly, and progressively WORSE. You most likely are one of the rich s.o.b.'s with the "I've got mine" outlook, and you really don't give a hoot about what is going on.
People are suffering NOT due to laziness, but due to a system and WEAK people like you whose money gives them some power and the FALSE ILLUSION that they really are better than people with much less money.
Guys like you are without conscience; or a sincere belief in God, much less a fear of God; a devout need to do right by your fellow man; and you have an ingrained aversion to morality. Then, when the sun is setting for the last time, you will be the first wimp who finds God, weeps openly about all of the people you're hurt (gagging) and begs for God's mercy. You have a list of issues that has bogged down the system, but no answers.
Well I believe that the system is beyond repair because greed is so entrenched in the system, like the worst case of cancer a human being can get, that the only option is to let it die slow, or put it out of its misery.
I opt to put it out of its misery and start over with a new system. IN the eyes of the suffering (they are suffering while you and I discuss the world), they can't be any worse off than they are right now.
Thank the greed mongers on Wall Street that we got her, but DO NOT pawn the blame on HARDWORKING people, and DO NOT disrespect them by calling them "LAZY"!
OUr situation in America is not OUT OF HAND, and we cannot waste time discussing what to do any longer. We had decades to discuss and create meaningful ways to stop trends we all knew would lead us here.

No the truth is there are a lot of people like you that think we are all responible for every one else. Charity is a choice not something to be mandated by the government or you. Socialism sucks because sooner or later the working people like my self get tired of being raped to support the lazy people that do nothing for themselves. Or do the bare minimuim to get by. I am on my 19th straight day of work I don't like working so much overtime but I have to to make ends meet. I certainly don't do it to support someone sitting at home all week sucking off the system. And by the way nowhere in the bible does it make me responsible for those too lazy to work for the necessities of life. When Jesus taught the people to fish he actualy expected them to fish not lay in wait for the fishermen to return then steal all their fish.

I think all of your ideas are great and should be put into effect, but lets start with you. You are working and the guy down the street isn't because he doesn't want to. So you pay his insurance premiums for him, ok? Another guy across the street doesn't work either because he is an illegal immigrant. So you pay his insurance premiums and since he doesn't have any food in his refridgerator, lets give him yours and while you are at it, you can pay his rent too. He is going to be very healthy due to you. I don't know how you're going to be doing, but it doesn't matter, you have to cough up anyways. I like your way of thinking, you're such a good man.
