End these stupid wars and you got the money to cover health care-problem solved. We surely don't need to spend 600 billion on the military- No wonder we're so screwed up. Bring the troops home, put 'em on our borders and let the rest of the world run itself.

It is not the role of the FedGov to be our "Mommy". If one needs health insurance they can always purchase it. Or, start working for a company that provides it.

IF THERE WERE ANY JOBS OUT THERE I WOULD AGREE.IF WE DIDN'T RUN AROUND THE WORLD SPENDING TRILLIOS OF DOLLARS ON WARS, WE COULD HAVE FREE HEALTH CARE LIKE EUROPE.

It isn't free, they pay much higher taxes than we do. Actually it isn't really great either.

John, if you add up property tax, sales taxes, capitol gains and other taxes we pay as much as they do. They don't waste 600 billion on their military like we do. If we pulled out of these stupid wars and put the troops on our borders we wouldn't have the problems we face now. It's time to be like Europe and stay out of wars and take care of our own. We don't owe anyone anything as far as protection goes. We have the capability to defend against attacks with our nasty weapons and the rest of the world knows it. So they won't launch in invasion. As far as the middle east and the rest of the hot spots, it's time to let them play their own games and not get involved.

There are so many people out of work with out any kind of insurance.I'd rather the money be spent on insurance rather than these stupid wars. A single payer system would eliminate the greedy insurance companies who take your premiums but refuse coverage. Eliminate all these agents and commissions and let a single payer system take over. The govt could kick in in case people didn't have jobs just like they do in Europe. Most of those against govt insurance are covered by govt. unions or free military coverage. What about the rest of us? Again, the money is there, it's a choice do we want to be in endless wars? Or do we want to take care of our people? I'm for ending the stupid wars and spending that money on our health care. We have the ability to repel any invasion of our country with nukes if we need to. We don't have to run around the world propping up corupt little dictatorships. Just the savings from giving all that money to Israel would help a lot of folks without insurance. If we're going to spend money , lets do it on our own people.

bill, you are reading my mind! in 2002 the U.S. army had al qaeda trapped, the only way out was the khyber pass. the commander was prepared to wipe them all out, but needed permission to fire. for reasons known only to bush/cheney confidants, 250 truck loads of "the base" were allowed to escape.
war,the "war" on drugs, private prisons, getting control of the water and selling it back at unreasonable prices, ripping off honest citizens with wasteful health care costs-are Hugh money makers THESE GREEDY CORPORATIONS ARE WORSE THAN ANY SOMOLIAN PIRATE.
i would puke, but i'm all puked out.

No matter what way you look at it..... Health Care in Pahrump is only going to get worse. The Inmates from the prison will be seeing our doctor's and staying at our hospital when they become ill. Nevada is already number 45 on the list of worst states for health problems. The main causes are smoking, obesity, & lack of doctors. Not to forget to mention the Likely Possibility of our water becoming contaminated.
