So being forced to pay inflated prices at the hospital to cover those individuals who need emergency treatment and don't have health insurance or the wherewith all to pay is much more preferable than providing standardized industry-wide regulation?

Either way you're paying for someone's lack of coverage,; why not take steps to reduce those costs:

-to each individual (making insurance companies shoulder a fairer share of the risk, eliminating pre-existing conditions)

- overall, by reducing the number of people receiving uninsured treatment (mandate coverage).

The Executive Branch has no authority to force anyone to buy a product or service against there will. He has overstepped his boundary's and our Sovereign States need to opt out of this program.

We need healthcare reform not free healthcare.

We already pay for healthcare for the poor. The wealthy have no problem getting healthcare. There are way too many hard working people that can't afford to get sick or injured.

Obama's health care was designed weak, supported by Obama to be weak. Price control of pharmaceutical drugs and health care treatment is more important. In addition, a true free national health care would need more power and better revenue.
