Way to expensive and not needed.

I want healthcare when I need it, not when a government cronie decides I should have it.

gov does not tell me what to do we the people are the boss, flip this house in 2010

The government couldn't run Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid. I don't want the government involved in my health care decisions. It is bad enough they have to be involved in my retirement!

Green Food must have the following four conditions:

Remember the recent recommendation of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force that women under 50 should not bother to get mammograms? Just days ago, the news reported that many State governments are now following that recommendation, and refusing to pay for mammograms for any woman under 50.

Health care rationing is a very REAL component to Obama's government public option (now disguised as buying into medicare at 55.) That very organization is listed by name in the democrat's bill to be a part of the "expert panel" which will determine what services and procedures are "effective." (read= paid for)

Now consider this. A 45 year old woman who normally gets free annual mammograms paid for by the state gets breast cancer. She can't afford to pay for it on her own. The state will pay for the treatment of it, but not early detection. She dies leaving a family behind. If that's not a "death panel," then I don't know what is.

As an older lady, I find that panel's recommendation repulsive. After all, younger women than me normally have children who need their mothers. Not that I value their lives more than my own.:-> It just goes to show you how the humanity will be taken out of our health care system if the government takes it over. Prior to that panel's immoral recommendation, States paid for regular mammograms for women. Now they have grasped the opportunity to stop, using that panel's recommendation as justification. If you don't think the Federal government will follow that path too, then you've got blinders on.

Death panels will be a part of any type of public option health care. Like her or hate her, Palin had it right. It amazes me that some people look at the mammogram issue and cannot see that it is just a harbinger of things to come if Obama gets his way. <shaking head>
