Big insurance and big pharma have had it their way long enough. They are bleeding us dry because they can and they are allowed to. It has to change.

this is a free nation, not a dictatorship. I want to choose my health insurance, not have it forced upon me. Make changes for the betterment of the people of this nation, not for your political benefit!

I know too many people who cannot afford or get insurance and also cannot get treatment because they are not totally destitute and on the streets or criminals in the jails. We need to care for our people.

this is a necessity if we are to call ourselves the most prosperous nation. Worst health care of any countries not third world. We will still have a choice, do not believe the lies being spread.

Everyone had ought to pay for their own health bills. If it isn't their priority too bad. Maybe it should be. This proposal for government control of everything including my health will bankrupt me and you.

I support healthcare reform. We need medical care for all people that we can afford.

this a weak, watered down, complicated, too rightist, expensive, bailout of the big insurance, pharma, health, rich corporations, a socialist entitlement to continue the wealthcare broken system.
The right wing tax cuts since ronnie reagan and the dumb wastefull wars of lbj thru president cheney have bankrupt us, so we cannot afford to even provide the same levels of healthcare that the rest of the world including commie former russia and china have.
Shame on the GOP elites for their arrogant let the poor stay poor, sick, and let Americans die- 45,000 every year, 120per day.
I was in favor of real change- his original proposals- change i could believe in but BO is a secret Republican moderate. I used to be a conservative but after watching the GOP CORPORATIONS DESTROY MY BELOVED USA, I am a progressive independent.Wait till the 2010 elections when more radical right wing politicos are dumped by a smarter electorate . We qave them decades to try their theories and they failed big time. The best Gop program was to con the voters and get and keep power. They were right- the GOP HAS BEEN SAYING FOR YEARS the government is corrupt and they proved it. power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutly.
I do no longer support the lastest weak gutted un reform bill. the GOP IS secretly very happy with barak, but they have to criticize him in public so no one will see he is a young black gop - mcain/ palin type.
