I am tired of making health insurance companies rich while I struggle to pay the mortgage. Thank goodness someone finally has the guts to do somehting.

I have Cancer and MS. Make too much for charity and not enough to purchase insurance. Took a pay cut so I would still have a job. Haven't had meds for months. Drug copanies will give you meds, but costs $ to go to Dr to get script.

Sorry to hear about your health. There are millions like you in this country. Definitely need a change in health care and insurance, but it won't come from the Obama Admin. Plan. More and more are realizing that even thoses who orginally supported him. All we are going to have is maybe the clothes on our back if he keeps going the way he is and has been. You can believe it or not. But those who were forwarned before the election didn't believe then, but do now.

Yes, we need improved health care that is TRUE. It is just really sad that what we have in both the House and Senate is just a money grab and not at all designed to really help the average person, or to that matter any person.
And get real, think,... if you add additional people into insurance plans that DO have pre-existing conditions that is going to INCREASE cost to the rest of the insured! And what about medicare... let's cut more from medicare it is going to go broke anyway... so lets cut more out so that we all have to have ADDITIONAL insurance policies to replace what medicare takes away from us!!!!!!!!!
Get real.. yes we DO need reform but not this package... lets reform TORT, lets reform medicare, lets pay as we go not pay not receive in a few years later... yea, I am upset with Congress.

I want to ask all the "we don't need health care reform" talking heads a question.
IF there is no reform or health care is not kept in check, how is the industry going to make up for the hundreds of millions of dollars it has dumped into fighting health care change?

Medical reform.... WHen was the last time you got a bill that was right from a doctor or found cross charges from the ER doctor and the hospital. If they dont bill it right, you dont pay. Seems to be a start to a quick fix.

This plan doesnt address the 12 Billion in medicare and medicade fraud. Each year.

Very few americas are without insurance of some form. If your below the 50% poverty level free insurance from the hospital. Its not like what other americans have but its a form of insurance.

Free clinics. Many areas have free clinics and scripts can generally be obtained that route to give to the drug companies for the free or mostly free med's.

There are ways around some of it.

Lets stop using the ER for basic medical visits. The quality of care has gone from good care to fix the ailment and get the heck out. See your doctor next week.

We have urgent care centers in place. They are open late and on saturdays ( many).

Making people buy health insurance or jail? Come on. Russia said they would take over our country without doing anything.

We are on the brink of socialism. For those who voted for change? Thats all you may be left with. Pocket change.
