friend lost her job 10 months ago, went to buy health ins. from the same ins.co. she had from her employer. they denied her! they stated the denial due to a blood thinner she was put on, plus 25 lbs. overwieght. now her entire saveings account was wiped out due to an illness, and she was denied treatment at her own doctors office. this does not happen in canada, mexico or even cuba. this could happen to anyone

Illegal-Alien Access Remains in Health Care Bill as House Floor Vote Nears

CongressDaily reports that House leaders are likely to leave tighter restrictions for illegal aliens out of the health care bill (H.R. 3962), as demanded by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. The House Rules Committee will vote this afternoon on a rule that governs the nature of floor debate on the bill. That debate is expected to occur on Saturday, although media reports suggest it may be delayed.

Since amendments are not likely to be allowed on the House floor, outside of the Democrat’s manager’s amendment and the Republican’s alternative reform package, the Rules Committee will have the final say on whether illegal aliens will have health care access under the House Democrat’s bill.

As it stand now, the House bill would allow illegal aliens to use the new healthcare "exchange" and would not require verification to keep illegal aliens out of the other parts of the proposed federal healthcare system.
