Republicans support a competitive marketplace, right? What else does a public option bring on but COMPETITION. Any business that finds itself up against a cheaper alternative will lower its own prices to compete. Simple enough? Anyway, how many people will choose to purchase a public plan? Probably no more than the percentage of people who choose the US Post over UPS or the public library over Border's Books. Think about it, though. If you lose your job or your private insurance you can go to the public library and research the public option. For free!

We don't need health care reform, we need Insurance reform. Fix that and health care will be more affordable. I would like to see that happen first.

Government, especially the federal level, will make the system worse. It is also unconstitutional.

Our healthcare system is broken. Outrageous fees and no preventive health care. The insurance industry is opposed in order to protect their interest and are using lobbyist to fool the public into defeating change.

i agree that our healthcare system is broken. i don't want the same people that run Medicaid, medicare, the DMV and Amtrak running healthcare though. Let insurance companies compete across states like auto insurance companies do. that will open up a world of competition and force lower prices without opening doors to bigger government. and i would rather have my employer pay me in salary what they put out for my insurance, and let me shop around for my own dang insurance. if it was truly a competitive market, i could sure find something better than what they're offering!

I just don't know what the hell is the truth or a lie. I don't think our politicians and their little idiot aids know either. This is going too fast, there is too much to read and understand. Like Mary Landriau said it has only been going on for forty years why ram it down our throats so fast before we can even understand it. I also think that Mary has disregarded those she represents in order to please her cohearts in crime in Washington D.C..

I oppose this because I don't know what it's going to do or not do. I am sure some pockets are being lined IN D.C. as we speak. Let the F.B.I. dig into this and they will find corruption at it's very best.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Taurus

It's important that you leave yourself plenty of room to manouvres during the weeks ahead, as Mercury turns retro today, especially when it comes to making decisions and airing your opinions to the world. You need to be as flexible as possible right now, otherwise you could find that you've boxed yourself into a corner and have to do some serious back-tracking. You need to consider all points of view and not just your own.
