We do have it already, haven't you notice how jammed up the waiting rooms are with illegals there, and they are treated just the same as those who pay for healthcare. The only thing that the healthcare proposals will do is allow the government to take over and control what, and how much and what kind of treatments you can have. They already have ceased to give the seniors the Cola increases for the next two years.(I guess the liberals are afraid to continue that program into 2012 elections) The AARP is increasing their premiums for the Medicare supplement, and we have been notified that Medicare will be DECREASING THEIR COVERAGE, which means you will have to pay out of pocket, and if Medicare doesn't cover it, neither will AARP.
They also will have a PENALTY, for those that DO NOT DECIDE THEY WANT COVERAGE.
What does that seem like to you? They will demand seniors meeting once every six months with someone who will decide if you need certain treatments and medications. Sounds like extermination is on its way. Why do you think so many people are against this sort of forced healthcare. I pray that no one in your family is caught in a situation like that, and don't think that the meeting with an "Advisor" will not expand beyond those on medicare. Once they ramrod this healthcare change through, there will be no way of reversing it. And you ILONA complained so vehemently against your Indian neighbors for being noisy, what do you think the end results of this helthcare bill will be like? Charity is fine, as long as it is given freely, not with a gun against you head.

It should not be forced on everyone. Those that needed help in getting healthcare should have been helped by the government, not forcing a drastic change on everyone, whether they wanted it or not.
The healthcare in Massachusetts has shown that it does not work, and they are bankrupt with their healthcare. The government has not been able to run anything correctly, this attempted fiasco will show why , just look at the Medicare,
going broke, Social Security (would have been with excess money had LYNDON B JOHNSON NOT TRANSFERRED IT INTO THE GENERAL FUND) going broke. The American people do not want this change, and congress says " we know better than you, what you need"

I have noted that President Zero Obama, has been awarded the Nobel Peace Award. FOR DOING NOTHING,
AND ALIENATING THE WHOLE USA.
Truly a form of the Anti-Christ who must have hypnotic powers, to dull the minds of the intelligensia, which proves that because they have much education, they sadly lack the common sense of normal people.
I must thank President Zero Obama, for being able to revive the Conservative movement in the the united states, and for Awakening the spirit of the Moral Majority in America. This may be seen starting this year, in the elections. The American people can take just so much, and when they push back, WATCH OUT DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS, you are going to be swept out, along with all of the DIRT.
Remember those in Congress, were the do nothings in office during the last 4 years of President Bush, and had the lowest approval rating of any other congress, and lower than President Bush. I believe that Nancy Pewlousy had held something over Bush's head, as a stark change came over him, after their meeting.

As for the "high" cost of healthcare, et al, when MEDICARE (and TRICARE) changes their HCPCS Fee Schedules and stops authorizing no-questions-asked $332.00+ payments to medical equipment rippoff firms for a commercially sold-on-line $55.00 piece of electrical crap (TENS Unit) then MAYBE I'll start to take seriously the government's pretense of concern.(and this is just ONE example) Hard WORKING taxpayers are being robbed left and right and the government is aiding and abetting the robbers!

Right on Patriot, what they are doing is trying to forced everyone in the United States of America to pay for charity, that the American people have given willingly for years on end, and if anyone doesn't want to join, they will have to pay thousands of dollars as a penalty.
The government(and both parties are to blame) had bankrupt just about everything they have touched. The Social Security Fund to start with, was not designated to the General fund, Lyndon B Johnson had transferred it there.Had he left it alone, there would be excess money in that fund, but no, the entitlements that congress had mandated(without the American Public voting on it)
and the junkets that the Congressmen went on with their families,
to study the mating habits of bugs in Africa.....etc, and the money they gave to one an other, is what happened. Congress has no problem with spending like drunken sailors OUR MONEY. We revolted against the British for "no taxation without representation", and now we have unlimited spending, and elected officials that do not listen to the people who had voted them in and sent them to Congress. Charlie Rangel was supposed to be the watchdog for the
government and he failed to do his job, plus failed to claim Millions on his tax forms. And yet Congress does nothing.
Look at the poll on the top, the American people, do not want
Obamacare, they do not want to pay for illegals getting the same healthcare that the American workers pay for, and getting it for free. Obama's next plan is to leaglize the Illegals, first by allowing them to register for the census, then making them legal, inorder to get their votes for 2012, and assure his parties
domination for elections, and the socialistic takeover of the
United States of America. After all of the blood, and lives we have sacrificed to free others from Socialistic opression, Obama
now want to take over the US, and hand it over to the Socialists.
God have mercy on us.
Yours in Jesus,
Itzik

Will Congress listen? I doubt it. The only thing they will pay attention to , is if the liberal Democrats, and the Liberal Republicans, loose their seats, that is the only thing that will make them shake in their pants. It is up to the American people to speak out, and show Congress, that if they do not listen to us, they will be out of a job!

It seems the Democratic majority will not be satisfied until they bring us down to the level of the EU countries, where they tax the television sets in your home, your refrigerator, your car.....etc as a value tax here is Nancy Pewlousy

During an appearance on Public Television, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that a "Value-Added Tax," or "VAT," is on the table as Congress negotiates its way through the fiscal calamity that has engulfed Washington.
Can you think of a more stupid thing than to tax so-called "value?"
Leave it to the liberals.
You see, liberals view things as value with dollar signs floating in their heads. Whether it's your hard-earned income that they scoop away from you on a daily basis, or the recent taxes they have attempted to level on your health care, to your retirement nest egg in the form of capital gains – there is nothing of value that they won’t tax!
So much for that pledge to not increase taxes on those making under $250,000 a year, huh?
YOU knew that promise wouldn't last. YOU knew the power-thirsty, spend-hungry liberals in Washington would stop at nothing to take more of your heard-earned money. YOU spoke out against it before the tea parties and the town halls.
But there is a new movement afoot - one that says enough is ENOUGH, Speaker Pelosi! You and your cronies in Washington have gone way too far this time.

However, in order for this movement to grow, thrive and prosper - along with the rest of America, others need to hear our shared, magnified voice.
You see, Speaker Pelosi will go out and say THIS:
"The Speaker (Pelosi) also emphasized that any reworking of the tax code would not result in an increase in taxes on middle-class Americans."
Say WHAT?!
WHO, exactly, then will pay for these so-called VAT taxes? The businesses? Where do THEY get the money?
Bingo. They pass it onto consumers in order to remain profitable.
This isn't about merely taxing big business - even though the United States already has the highest corporate-punishing taxes in the WORLD - this is about the costs getting passed along to consumers like you.
Then, she has the audacity to state that you won't feel it.
Baloney.

Sincerely,
Tim Albrecht

Doctors Against Obamacare – Rally in D.C.
September 10, 2009, Washington, D.C.- by EL MARCO

Today doctors, nurses and other medical professionals came to Washington, D.C. from across the country to show their opposition to Obamacare. This rally exploded the government-created myth that there is unanimity amongst health care professionals for Democrat plans to take over health care. The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons came to D.C. to present a petition from doctors to lawmakers. The AAPS has been a voice for private physicians since 1943. Their motto is Omani pro aegroto,“all for the patient”. The doctors met with the representatives from their respective states and argued for a platform that avoids unnecessary bureaucratic intervention in health care.

Dr. Shannon Norris, a radiologist from Atlanta, holds a People’s Cube poster describing Obamacare as offering “the efficiency of the Postal Service, the sustainability of Social Security and all the compassion of the IRS”.

Dr. Steven Ellison, a cardiologist from Georgia, displays graphically how doctors feel about being targeted by a party and president that slander and demonize them. On the podium, speaker after speaker talked about the slurs President Obama has made about doctors performing unnecessary amputations and tonsillectomies out of greed. Not only is it untrue that doctors profit from these procedures, but the premise that they would do such harm to their patients is an insult to doctors.

Dr. Hal Scherz, a pediatric urologist from Atlanta, founded Docs for Patient Care to voice doctors’ opposition to the “big rush” for a big government solution to health care reform. The organization of doctors suggests practical proposals such as tort reform, insurance reform, and opening up insurance pools between states.

Their petition to Congress can be found at TakeBackMedicine.com :

Physicians can no longer allow medical care in this country to be controlled by government and insurance companies

Current reform options purport to be “cure-alls” for every American. But we know that every patient is different, and just like patients, there is no single big-government solution to change health care in this country.

Instead, we need more diversity in solutions.

Therefor e, I support changes that address the following issues:
Petition point: 1. INDEPENDENCE: Doctors are professionals. They answer to their patients, not the government or an insurance company or any other third party. Treatments should be decided by doctor and patient exclusively.

“We are not the enemy,” said Dr. Joyce Lovitt, a pediatrician from Georgia.

Petition point: 2. VALUE OUR SERVICES: Physicians have a right to be paid a market-based fee for their services, and to be paid at the time of service or within a reasonable period.

Dr. Lovitt:“Patients, we will cover your backs if you do not tie our hands behind our backs.”

Petition point 3. DOCTORS ARE NOT INSURANCE BILLING CLERKS: Physicians should not be forced to act as billing or collection agents for third-parties, whether private insurance or the government.
&#82 32;

Petition point 4. REGULATIONS GET BETWEEN PHYSICIANS & PATIENTS: Excessive regulatory burden on physicians is interfering with patient care. We must decrease regulations, not pass more.

Petition point 5. LIABILITY COSTS MUST BE REDUCED: Costly defensive treatment and tests, and predatory litigation result in excessive liability costs for physicians and patients alike.

Dr. Scott Barbour, an orthopedic surgeon from Atlanta addresses the rally.

Petition point 6. AUTONOMY: Neither physicians nor patients should be forced to participate in government nor private health care plans or programs.

Petition point 7. RIGHT TO CONTRACT: Neither physicians nor patients should be prohibited from entering into mutually agreeable private contracts for services and payments.

Petition point 8. PRIVACY: Physicians must not be forced to disclose patient records without the express consent of patients.

Dr. Phil Gingery, U.S. Congressman from Georgia addresses the Rally.

Dr. Michael Schlitt, a neurosurgeon from Seattle. He spoke about a woman in England who had an aneurism and was told by the National Health Service that there was nothing they could do for her. They told her to enjoy her last few days. She came to the U.S. and was treated by Dr. Schlitt and is fine today.“Show me a place where patients can get MRI’s the same day.” and the crowd responded with a rousing “U.S.A.! U.S.A.!””Who’s got the best medical care in the world?”“U.S.A.! U.S.A.!”

Howard Long, from Pleasanton, California is “a country doctor.”

The basic question comes down to who do you want making your health care decisions. Do you want them made in a doctor’s office with men like these? Or do you want them made by bureaucrats and congressional ”staffers” in an office in the building below?

Someone is shooting from the hip today, making them irascible and all too liable to fly off the handle. Be very wary about provoking them into further outbursts, particularly where the vexed topics of money and sex are concerned. If you're trying to sort out a financial problem you will also be prone to losing your rag and banging your fist on the table. But will that help?
