I think it will cost too much atleast for right now and making people pay a fine if they don't or can't buy it is just plain wrong. How can they afford the fine if they can't even afford to buy the insurance?

President Obama has gone further with this issue than any other U.S. President. He is to be commended for it.

But it ain't over till it's over.

If he pulls this off, he will go down in history as one of our greatest Presidents. I think his advisors don't really have a plan though. Obama is the quarterback. But he needs a lot smarter offensive line.

Just don't hire Gardenhire as an adivsor though.

It has been said that Hillary Clinton does have a health plan in order & that might work that she presented to executives around the country when Bill was Prez.

Obama should take a gander at that.

Currently, health insurance companies have no regulations against discrimination
which are known as preexisting conditions.
They also have LEGIONS of bean counters that routinely deny coverage to people and are rewarded for their efforts.

Also, do you REALLY think that they have your best interest at heart when the industry as a whole is currently spending on lobbyists and advertising
$1.3 million dollars a day opposing any reform?

Insurance companies suck, relying on your employer to pick a plan that works for you also sucks.

Obama may be our dumbest president ever. He will go down as an even worse president than Carter.

Your Hellmann's add covers up most of the response window when you go full screen. Fix that and you'll get more responses. As it is, I'm not sure what I voted for and think this is BS.

auroranorth......When did Hilary run Walmart? I know she was on their Board but I didn't know she was running Walmart. Do you know the duties of a Board of Directors? Homeschooling just isn't what it is cracked up to be.

You know Eddie, the lame excuse that everything is Bush's fault is really getting stale. Bush was bad but far superior to Algore or the lackluster Kerry. Now we have the Great Prophet Obama because our choice was Obama light. We can only hope for a real alternative three years from now.

American's don't want this communist run system of government. They aren't fooling anybody. This communist crap is going to cause more of a divide than the democrat party has already caused. Good job babyboomers your self serving ideas are doing nothing more than hurting your future children. It will go down in history, that the babyboomer generation was the generation that brought down the United States. What a worthless generation the babyboomers have been. Thanks alot losers.

I think it high time that such a rich country that prides itself in everything that is imaginable, such as technology, human right etc, should do the right thing for those people who are falling in the cracks, due unexpected family illness.
