There are too many costs to implementing the plan, and the dems have not been able to specify where and exactly how they will be able to successfully tighten up and close loopholes to help pay for it. They are also leaving out important tort reform.

America needs to try a true free market solution: separate routine care from serious care. Insure across state lines serious care. Routine out of pocket expense as price transparency develops. Live unhealthy, pay more. Tax credit vouchers for low income to buy health care services and insurance.

A national health care system is prone to government mismanagement and Chicago style corruption. Own nation's hospitals and health care budget will become a political football prone to be sliced into Congressional Pork Sausage!

We need health care reform because health care is killing our economy. Business cannot continue to compete on a worldwide stage without reform. I have shopped in that market over the years when employed and there is so much information that the consumer does not have access to to make a wise decision on making the best choices for their health care. We know about buying a car than buying health care. This country voted for change and now they are saying not this one.

Have watched on CSPN. You know who the Republicans are just by listening without seeing. I guess Washington forgot that we voted for change. Bipartisonship has flown out the window. Maybe the voting public forgot too. We need to know how this will be paid for, since cost is what was driving the issue. The insurance industry should hang their heads in shame since many of the problems stem from their concern for the bottom line and not the health of their purchasers. The media has done a great job covering the negative from the scare mongers. Who can you trust to tell the truth these days.

It is just an option. The bailouts did not have a full plan.

I do not believe the whole system needs to be changed..Just address the problems and move forward and leave what is working alone.

As a Christian, I believe it is a moral imperative to provide access to health care to all Americans, regardless of the ability to pay.

I am impressed with very little that the government does. It's not all their fault - everything becomes politicized. And huge organizations of any stripes often become inefficient. But with competition, big corporations much eventually restructure. Government doesn't do that. It scares me that the government would do away with the system we have and replace it with something that doesn't have to compete.

Not deficit neutral, problems with on-again/off-again insurance coverage and pre-existing conditions. House plan dies not address Tort reform.

We should all pay a bit more taxes to support our entire population. Nobody should be left out of health care opportunities

I support it...if for no other reason than it pisses off the teabaggers, wingnuts and loony religious types.
