It's really simple. We can't afford to move more people onto the national dole. There is too many people on it now who are able to work and pay taxes, yet refuse to because of some ill-concieved notion that because they are black they are owed a wage.

This bill will put even more able bodied people on the national dole and we are bankrupt as it is.

Gov can run a lot of things right.
first, the military keeps us free, or don't you
support the military?
second, it is nice to put a stamp on mail and it
gets to where it is going in a few days.
third, Meicare is a gov run health insurance, every
one wants to get on it when they get old
enough.
fourth, FDIC protects your bank accounts form the
bankers who fail.
fifth, the government interstate highway system is
nice makes road trips a lot faster and safer
six, did you eat this morning, the government
inspects our meats and other food products so
that we want get sick form eating bad food
seventh, when you brush your teeth this morning,
did you have clean dranking water to do it
eight, all of you and now your brats got a free
education for your kids threw public
education
nine, you all are using "The internet" cellphones
if it was not for the space program we would
not have these
ten, when ever your house is on fire who do you
call, the fire department, which is partly
funded by the Government threw grants
CAPTAILISM DOES NOT WORK ONLY FOR THE SUPER RICH.
first, if you make least over 10 million a year,
then capatialism works well for you.
second, you are a dumbbutt and most of you all are
in here makes less then $30,000 and do not
want the rich to be taxes,
I rather see 1 rich person who makes $300,000
be taxed then 10 people making $30,000
third, private health insurance does not cover
everything, I got parkinson diease. Blue cross
Blue shield dropped me.
we do have "death panels" here in usa they are
call health insurance companies.
Fourth, the top 3% of the riches peoples owne 80%
of the worlds wealth. that is capitalism
fifth, capitalism is pure greed, the only people
that Jesus got mad with in the BIBLE was the
Captialist.

You are absolutely correct about "true socialism". My question to you is this: Will everyone be doing an equal share of work? You know as well as I do the answer to that is no. We already have people too sorry to work trying to milk the system for everything they can now.

I made the choice to go to school via student loans and graduate and get a pretty good paying job.(I make in upper 60s). Why would it be fair to take my salary through taxes to support someone who chose not to school and is now earning minimum wage? How is the "equal" treatment?

We all have choices, we all made decisions, and once those are done, we must deal with the outcomes. If people aren't happy with their salary or circumstances, they should get off their ass and go back to school. With loans, internet classes, distance learning, etc., no excuses in 2010. They can bust their a** same way I did.

Hell, single mothers, blacks (yes I said, no racism intended so don't even go there.... Negro College Fund, etc.) and other minorities have more opportunities now than ever before to school and make something of themselves.

Yet, we only see a minority of the minority doing so. WHY????? Because those are the ones counting on us to support them and I saw SCREW THAT.

I tried to vote oppose and it wouldn't take that vote either...so maybe the oppose vote would be higher if it was working properly

If you are self-employed and making your own money, then you don't need the crumbs from the rich. I don't know why you said that. The rich don't support me nor do I want their crumbs; however, they do pay the majority of the taxes for which I am very grateful. If it weren't for the rich, there would be NO food stamps for people who do not work and do not pay taxes.

Taxes are too high now. I have to pay my way so can everyone else. I don't agree in giving free health care to illegal aliens either.

Daily Horoscope for March 22

Leo

Even love at first sight is possible, Leo, but remember that such heady feelings usually fade with time. Those of you who have a significant other should consider doing something spontaneous now. Even if you have 2.4 children and a lawn to mow, you need to do something unplanned on occasion.
