I am - I will retire in 2 years at the age of 59 with my private company pension that I have paid into, plus the $$ that I have been putting into savings. Social Security is NOT a retirement income - it was set up as SUPPLEMENTAL. the whole idea of the government providing everyone everything they need has gotten out of hand. |

We need a healthy nation if we are going to compete with the rest of the world. Over 30% of our nations youth are fat and destined for early diabetes.

that is not a good enough reason to institute a national health plan and have only a few pay the bill. why not fine or tax the families that allow their children to get too fat? oh - wait - that is violating their rights. why not take the fat kids away from the famlies that allow them to get fat? oh - wait - that is violating their rights. lets face it - our nation was built on "personal responsibility" for each person's life. I dont feel that I should pay the bills for those who dont feel they have to be responsible for their health. |
