I'm not going to judge my President, and be quick to assume he's not within integrity. Were quick to walk away (less than a year). It wasn't like the guy only had a half-dozen supporters braving that cold, last January Come on America, give President Obama more time. Besides, did you watch that sight last Saturday night. I was embarrassed having my kids watch them. How can all this be a positive influence for our future generation? I've given my 2 cents!!!

This bill is a joke. Raise taxes, cut coverage, and create a massive bureacratic boondoggle. This is unbelievable.

Nothing like taking a system that works and attempting to transform it into a system that has produced the bankrupt social security plan, medicare, medicaid and the postal service. What is wrong with fixing parts of things and not Bankrupting America? These guys are dunces with a title.

Are you kidding me. Let's bankrupt America, make our children slaves to the government. Congress had to pass the bill in the dead of night, instead of reading it. Many congressmen say trust me, it will be good. I am so happy Frank Wolf is not one of those lemmings.
Of course, health care so called reformed had to be passed immediately. But saving the country from terrorists, like the one who attempted to bring down the Detroit flight, brings only excuses.
Okay, we can't trust security to the government but we can trust them with out lifes with healthcare.

You have got to be kidding. Trusting the government to provide anything quality is a joke. Just look at the wonderful air security...we trust them and they allow terrorists to fly to this country at will.
Congressmen have said they have not read all the bill, to Trust Them. Oh, sure...
Thank goodness Frank Wolf is not one of the lemmings who backed a bill without reading it.

Way to go Democrats! With full control of the Congress and the White House, you come up with a deal done in secrecy that will only make the health care system more expensive and complicated.

I have to say, as a life long Democrat, that I had high hopes for Congress and the President. After a year, I feel let down. The change that has been brought to Washington is worse than ever. The deficit is skyrocketing and can't be maintained. I hate to say it but it's time to throw the bums out.

I'm sure I speak for many when I say I am truly afraid of what might happen next if Obama and the current Congress are given "more time". In one year, we have had a take-over of the banking industry, two-thirds of the U.S. auto industry, decided to try captured terrorists on a battlefield like U.S. criminals - have they started training the Marines on how to read Miranda rights yet?, attempted (attempting)to take over the entire health-care industry, ignored bankruptcy laws (in the case of Chrysler), appointed communist and tax ivading czars, appointed czars with no Congressional oversight, failed to appoint top national security possitions (still to this day), not to mention bailout after bailout, after stimulus after clunker program, after housing program, all the while we are already committed to 70 trillion dollars worth of liabilities with absolutely no means to pay for them. Oh yeah, and Medicare is bankrupt and social security is not far behind. You want us to give him and Congress more time? Are you serious?

I have never been so ashamed to be an American. I never thought I would live to see the day a program like Medicare would be gutted, hurting older people, only to add freeloaders to new programs the governement of the government and for the government would shove down our throats.

They are inept on both sides of the isle. Time for real compaign reform - IE put a cap of $1 million that can be raised/spent to run in congress and $10 million for presidential race, and put a 2 term limit for all.

Can anyone even remotely say how this will be paid for, other than by "the rich". The bill is so high anyone who makes anything will be The Rich.

This is social reform under the guise of health reform. Why didn't Congress take an existing European plan, study it and make changes to fit the US?

If European medicine work then WHY are there so many foreign DR. practicing in The USA. America has the BEST health care even the poor are covered though medicade.

Suspicious of the plan and tired of the vote buying. Why didn't we borrow from European plans instead of making our own? Because it is more of a social reform plan than health care plan.
