We already are overtaxed and I do not want to provide for those that are too lazy to provide for themselves. Socialism sucks and so does Obama.

I am not opposed to health care reform, which we desperately need, I am opposed to the debacle that is the current bill that isn't a reform but a total reinvention of healthcare.

To say that the health care system as it stands is efficient or productive in ANY way is very narrow-minded. I would not go as far as calling it a lie because efficiency and productivity are subjective terms, but our health care system as it stands is ridiculous. I would rather a reform than continuing to pay for those "lazy individuals" as they were called above, under a system that isn't providing any sort of benefit to those in need and the taxpayers of course.
Now, let me explain something else. Those "lazy individuals" are people that have a seriously hard time coping with their lives as it is. With any sort of public aid, there are individuals that exploit the system to a maximum, but it is completely unethical and downright wrong to make that sort of a generalization.
Something needs to be done. It is not fair to the babies that are being brought to this world by irresponsible parents without the financial needs to provide for their nutrition and medical coverage. Regardless of your political ideology, our health care system is not efficient and it is not productive.

This is too important a matter to try to push it through so quickly. It should be worked on over the next several years and the public should be totally informed regarding any plan, which might be adopted.

What is currently being advocated is not real healthcare reform. They should go back to the drawing board and start anew, but first ask their electorate what changes they want to see implemented. No special interest groups, no behind the door deals, no outsiders with an agenda, the PEOPLE should be deciding what it is they want. After all, everyone in Washington, in fact, all political offices are employees of the PEOPLE.

I do not like the fact that they felt it needed to be passed so quickly without a full explanation of the particulars to the American Public

This so called health care reform is just another way for these socialist commie bastards to try to take over our lives and stop our freedom as we know it. They ALL need removed from office, in fact the rat bastard traitors should all be removed from this country. Go to Russia and live in their system if it so bad here. If they need help packing their bags, I'll be over to help!

reform is needed, not dismantling. Some good parts but mostly not good for the country. Bill contains mostly pork for the obamites. Add tort reform and buying ins across state lines will significantly reduce health care premiums.

It would kill babies and seniors by rationing care and would destroy the best health care system in the world

Our current health care system does not work. We need a reform. I don't agree with everything that has to do with this current bill, but I don't have any appreciation for the right's philosophy on this either.. Reject the bill and do nothing to try and fix our problem.
