I do think that our government should take over our health care. I feel that a government run health care will be worst off than it is now! Lack of quality and availability to get care! Just like Medicaid and Medicare!

as a nurse, it is much cheaper for preventative medicine then it is for someone to be treated at the hospital...gotta change the way we treat patients.

have to disagree with you....I am a nurse...people with medicaid and medicare can go to the doctors and receive treatment....those without insurance cannot. I ask anyone who dosent work in healthcare to come work a month in our enviroment....it will open your eyes and change your mind.

This country can't afford for the government to run anything else into the ground. We have the best health care hands down. People from all over the world come here fro treatment. We need only open up state borders for competitive insurance and fix medicaid and medicare. Put those who truly can't afford insurance on medicaid. This will save a bundle of money.

It is an ill conceived plan that does nothing to reduce health care costs. It merely jacks around with insurance, ending up costing most of us considerably more for no real benefit.

I have read the bills and it is also what is not said that gives the courts and gov. the loopholes to impose at least 57 new govt. agencies, bureaus, committees, etc to say what medical procedures you can or cannot get from your doctor. Oh yes more jobs for unions, Acorn and new govt employees, they are the ones getting jobs, not the people. Total no. of people to poor to get health coverage is about 10-12 million. illegals 12-15 million, people who can afford but choose not to buy ins. 15-20 million. No. of people in United States around 310 million. Why should those 15 million make 300 million change their ins?

Some facts worth looking at. The Postal Service lost 3 billion dollars last quarter. That's a billion per month. That's after saying if they get the raise in January they would break even. They spent $24,000.00 per car sold in Cash for Clunkers .that's $19,500.00 admin cost to administer a $4500.00 check to the dealers. Medicare is almost a trillion short over the next 5 years. I'm just trying to understand why I should trust them this time.

Today a bill was proposed in a committee to be added and it was for all members of Congress to accept this health bill if it is passed. It was voted down 10 Dems to 6 Rep.
Maybe whats good for us is not for them.
There are two many members of this Obama admin WHO HAVE NEVER
WORKED ON A REAL JOB IN THEIR ENTIRE LIVES.Oh yes there are
now 279 millionaires in Congress. How do they become millionaires on a salary of approx 165,000 per year? Did you know they total expense as a member of congress is 684 dollars per yearand that
pays for the best medical coverage in the world.

Do not want goverment interference with my health care. It should be optional without penalities, and only insurance needs to be reformed not health care!

Who is going to inforce the mandatory health care? You can still get free, yes free health care by showing up to any emergency room and signing in. Do you really think people are going to still buy health care? Hell no ! Also, as soon as this passes, if it passes, the next step is to make all the illegels citizens. Then guess what they will have health care and for the graditude they will keep voting for the democrats the ones that gave them citizenship and health care. How is Obama going to pay for this.... TAXES and more TAXES on the working stiffs... BOHICA

As I said before. The federal government has no business getting involved with healthcare. We need a MUCH smaller government. This would be a disaster.

Your believing the hype. If this were truly healthcare reform and not federal government expansion I'd be all over it. This will turn into nothing more than another expensive federal program that is run with corruption and waste. It can't work. The Postal Service ,military , Medicare ,social security. None of them are rum with any fiscal responsibility at all. The Postal Service said if they received their last bump in price they would guarantee a bust even quarter. The lost 8 billion the first quarter. Do you really want people like that controlling your families health. Its no health care its health. Think this through. This is a very bad bill. This is not a federal government issue Constitutionally either.
