Health care is a personal matter between individuals, their employers, and their providers. The civil government should not be involved by imposing it's desires upon our personal decisions and contracts. The civil government continues to expand itself into the personal lives of "We the People" -- and we are tired of "Big Brother's" meddling -- enough is enought!

Our government is already bankrupt - our national debt is staggering - our personal lives are constantly being invaded by the government - and now they want to meddle with our health care - isn't it past time they butt out?

The banks got help, why can not the people wh do not have health insurance. Not all employeers offer health ins, nor can all the peole afford that insurance compnies offer with at high price. Besides that my wife and I have insurance we pay for and she got denied her medication, and I know another person who had his medications denied. And how about the people that has an ins, policy and yet are dumped by that company when they get siclk and need to use their insurance. But the Republicans have a great insurance play don't they --do not get sick. If you do just die quick. I hope you people do not loose your job and health insurance, because then you can always use the Republican plan, do not get sick.

By the way Republicans I saw you laughing and shouting with glee about Chicago loosing the bid for the OLYMPICS., The olympics if held in CHICAGO would have created a lot of jobs in those steel mills and also manufacturing and supplies. How the construction jobs it would have created in the chicago area that you construction workers would had to work on. Boy you Republicans sure were happy about not creating those jobs the olympics would have created especially in those steel mills.

Lancaster County is predominately a Christian community which follows Jesus' message of helping the poor and less fortunate among us - namely, the 48 Million uninsured people. God is watching us.

I do not support the joke of a plan that they have come up with so far. What I am for is the health insurance they have. I don't hear any Republican's or Democrats complaining about their goverment run insurance. Wake up people our goverment has caused this mess of an ecconomy. It is time to get both parties out of office and have a real goverment that works for the people or has no job just like me after working for the same company 24 yrs and losing my job to save them money.

We think Government cant even police welfare properly let alone a National Health care system.

Obama promised he would closely watch HOW the Stimulus package was used and look at how he screwed that up.
Add to that the estimate the Gov had on how long the first cash for clunkers would last and that 1,000% off on numbers. Add the dealers aren't getting paid. Now we have the same people estimating the cost for health care reform. When was the last time GOV didn't muck up programs??
The other reason is Obama promised full disclosure on the package and at the last minute the White House didn't post all the pages.
The mistrust in Obama is he is the leader of the free world and yet he is afraid of inviting one TV station "Fox" the U.S. highest top rating station to his speech. So hear is a president not understanding EQUAL as he boost about Equality. That alone means he turned Yellow and didn't have the balls to man up to one T.V. station and what, he supposed to be the commander in Chief and represent the U.S. in other countries!!!
He invites opposition and yet the White House calls the tea party Marchers exercising there fundamental right to freedom of speech and the White House calls these people racist.

Many of of the people in my town are DONE with his lies and racist attitude and not understanding EQUALITY. We simply think he the worst president weve ever had.
We also think this Health Care is to fill in the stop gap of the just above Welfare or gov assistance to get there votes locked in.

mmm mmm mmm maybe we were afraid for the workers or maybe we thought we would be paying for the materials twice since there is a HIGH probability they would get stolen!! Or could it be this!! And it wasn't about a political party the stats speaks for itself

Unfortunately for the Motor City, Kilpatrick, 38, is just one ripple in the area's sea of crime. Detroit is the worst offender on our list of America's most dangerous cities, thanks to a staggering rate of 1,220 violent crimes committed per 100,000 people. "Detroit has, historically, been one of the more violent cities in the U.S.," "They have a number of local crime syndicates there--a number of small gangs who tend to compete over territory."

I think we were happy that Chicago lost the Olympics because it poorly represents the U.S. as a safe clean city compared to other cities not to mention it being the most dangerous/WORST city in the U.S. Its turning into a hell hole. Metro Detroit is 47% illiterate. How Embarrassing in representation of the U.S. cities. Detroit school District has a graduation rate of 21.7%

Could THIS be the reason they weren't really in the running. mmm Mmm Mmm. Who in the rest of the U.S. would want to go there and possibly loose there life!! Get Real and Look at your report Card Grade as a city to live in...

just to set the record straight here the DEM'S also voted for the war expenditures. At present the military cost us 600 billion a year. OUR WELFARE is up to a TRILLION a YEAR Before the recession and that WELFARE war gets bigger and bigger. So do that cost analysts for the DEM'S WELFARE for the next Decade!!! In 2000 it was 434 Billion a year.
