The problem is that they don't know how to fix what is broken. Too much work. It is a lot easier to force others to pay for those millions of illegal who are here getting the benefits. They come here to have children by the doz. and someone has to pay the consecuenses. What the politicians care about is votes.

I'd rather have the government in charge than big business who only care about the money. I can vote politicians out. Also, we already have socialized medicine, it's called medicare.

The program cuts senior benefits under Medicare and Medicare Advantage by $622 billion. It will also raise premiums on everyone who now pays taxes.

They will screw up seniors, and the middle class. Remember, nothing hurts the rich, so the affected is always the middle class.

Boy do YOU need an education! COME to lovely Washington, D.C. and get it. I am sick to death of this place. It's lovely on the outside and my nearby neighbors are people I'd die for. But EVERYTHING around here is politics EVERYTHING. You can't getwork done in a frickin OFFICE without it. Your congressperson is NOT your bestest friend.

If you think for ONE MINUTE that CORPORATE is this bad, you have no CLUE what government does. All you hear is the crap on the boob tube and that seems to be gospel for you. The government is PARTLY to blame for the problems we now suffer with its regulations and decrees. You can't take a DUMP without the government these days. And it's going to get WORSE; not better because of folks such as yourself.

You need to try living in the old Soviet Union, or maybe Venezuala where Mr. Chavez dictates what you can and can't do.

So you see that Medicare is "socialized medicine" do you. How do you like it? Know that it will change soon. If you don't like it now, WAIT it's alternative will be worse. Have fun!

The good part about this plan is AARP will profit greatly from supplemental insurance sales to seniors. You gotta love the politicians with their back door deals. Especilay when they back door the people they are supposed to care about.AARP sucks I dropped my membership and made sure they know why.
