I have many reasons. I work very hard to just get by and live a life. I, for one do not want government involved in health care or taking more taxes to support people who try not to work as hard as I have. One day I would like to have a family of my own instead of supporting other people's children!!! Get a JOB, stop depending on government!!!!!!!!

now there certain reasons why some people should go to the government for support after all its this government that has sent millions to some country to be killed for a cause to only come back not dead and in a box but came back with no legs, arms , etc.. i think the government should pay for that . as for the multitude of idiots that collect social security just because they are depressed then no or they the other state raised apes out there who depend on fema and other agencies to support them instead of getting jobs no they all should go get jobs....
i'm against the healthcare reform because its one more nail in the coffin of this fine country.. this moron is trying to turn whole country socialist.
first the banks, then the auto makers, now healthcare please enough is enough i say lets take back our country and make it the way it was supposed to be to start with for the people of the people by the people

I definitely agree that the people who serve this country should have benefits. It's the people who live off government and do not put a dime into this country that should not receive anything! The leeches in this country do not realize that the government is actually keeping them down. Living off the government does not in any way shape or form improve your life or status. I believe that there are circumstances people may be in that need TEMPORARY assistance. Understandable! I am strongly against people living off the government for years. Lazy people! That's America's problem. The government does not owe anyone anything but equal rights, liberties, and protection. NOT taking over health care, mortgages, car companies, etc. If that all happens this country will no longer be America the land of the free. Government will own you and everything about you (practically already does). It will be a communist country. I continue to pray for my children's sake that the people do not allow this to happen!

which is my point exactly. how is it going to take for the people to stand up together and say hey we don't want this put it back where it was. it government is longer for the by the peopleof the people and hasn't for quite awhile but it isn't a problem that can't be fixed if everyone stood up for what the constitution and the people who signed it stood for.. let alone the men and women who died for it .. what are telling our children? that its ok to let the government run our lives for us.. doesn't teach much for resposibility.
i never voted for the guy i just didn't believe that whole yes we can bit... because the yes we can didn't apply to us the people but to the governemnt who already has too much power

I trust the government more than the insurance companies who are in it for profit, big buildings, and million dollar salaries for top executives. Their job is to find ways not to pay benifits after we pay our hard-earned money in premiums. The government does fine on my medicare. I think it would do fine for everybody else too.

what do you think the government is in it for (1) money (2) control
and by the way now that this healthcare plan passed now you are going to be faced with a choice (1) switch to their version of insurance (2) or stay with your current provider but if you decided number 2 then guess what now your premiums are going to sky rocket more than have already..ok so you get medicare so you must be around the age of 65 for you thats fine but for the rest of us that don't reach that point in our lives for quite a long time its going to hurt us by killing our wallets or forcing us to choose something that we don't want or need..

I think the government is coming in because the insurance companies have been ripping us off. We need an option where the goal is not huge profits, but good health care. If we get everybody on an insurance plan, maybe we can get people to doctors before they are forced to go to the emergency room for expensive care. I've got several friends who were laid off months ago and are fast using up their savings, have no medical insurance, and are feeling really desparate. I'm sure they are'nt alone.
