too much government controls

since corporations are NOT the same thing as regular businesses, we, in our democracy, can regulate them differently. by corporation, I mean those things that have public stock and are chartered by the state to receive privileges such as limited liability for the owners/stockholders.

Barack Obama was awakened during the night following his latest Democratic Party Presidential debate. Two ghosts stood before him. "We are the spirits of Samuel Adams and William Lamb."

"Who?" Obama asked in a daze, unsure if he was hallucinating from lack of sleep.

This health care plan does not do enough to address tort reform. With the democrats in bed with the trial lawyers they don't want tort reform.The bill needs to create competition between insurance companies by allowing people to buy their insurance in any state they choose. This will make prices come down.Insurance companies will not be able to compete with a government run option which would make all the rules. Drug companies and our current health care providers need to stop charging outlandish prices for their services. Americans actually pay a higher price for their drugs so the drug companies can offer them at a cheaper price to France. Seems like everyone is a crook these days

First there's Physicians molesting women on
exam tables.
Then there's Female nurses groping unconscious
male patients.
Next we have female cna's physically and
sexually abusing elderly patients at Albert
lea nursing home.

Obama says that illegals will not be eligible for health care. His way around this is to give amnesty to them then they are eligible......pretty transparent.

I support reforming the system, just not as currently proposed.

The tea party folks like to be ill-informed and use catch phrases..government big, obama socialist, things like that.

Government can't control spending too many special interest groups involve with medical decision that should be made by the patient and doctor not the insurance company and the GOV.

We need less government, not more. Look at a few recent examples of Federal government screw ups - NWA bombing attempt, poorly administered tarp funds, etc.

He blames the health insurance companies for the high health car cost. The problem is the extremely high cost by the providers of health services. We have much more capacity of health care in all the specialties , MRI's than are needed to properly and adequately meet the needs of the area. Those with insurance are paying for all that are recieving the care and are paying far in excess of what the services should cost. We need controls on the expansion of more and more providers. Competition and free markets are out of control. The state prior to 1980 had a hospital rate commission and without state approveing an increase in rates and proving that a need existed ,would not allow the expansion of building new facilities , clinics etc. In addition WI. is one of the only states that allow for health provider corporations to even exist, as a result we have health groups on every corner that are abusing Medicare, Insurance, hosptials. In 1980 with only 1 MRI in Green Bay a procedure cost $750.00 and today with 7 MRI 's in Green Bay , the same procedure costs $5,700.00. The population went up at most 10% but the capacity to do MRI's went up 700 %. None of these doctor group corporations is going broke because the insurance companies are being over charged and those with insurance are forced to pay more to cover all those that just go to the hospital and clinics emergency rooms that are not insured and get all the care for free. Those with insurance pay the premiums for their coverage and then get forced to pay for the uninsurerd's care. It is time we stop provideing for all the illegals that are taking all the services for free. We that have paid the premiums for insurance are made out to be the bad guys and the others are just leeches with both hands out waiting to ne cared for and served. They pit those that have paid for insurance against them and have the guts to say that they have rights to free health care. That is just plain stupidity and they are the sames one with hands out for free housing ,Education, you name it They are also the sames wonders that voted for the loser we have for president.
