Big government costs too much, lowers standard of living for average American, and gradually strips away our liberties that we cherish.

Too many Americans do not have access to adequate healthcare. This should not be a partisan issue. Our nation can do better.

I do not want the Government involved with my health care. EVERYTHING the Government handles is so inefficient and bloated with mistakes and waste. How dare they try to impose something that is first and foremost UNConstitutional, not to mention just plain self-serving to the drug industry and polititians.

Govt bureacrats should not be between individuals and their very private decisions on their personnel health with their Dr's.

Big government is corrupt and doesn't do anything without a motive. If you read some of the legislation there are rules embedded where after a certain year (2013 maybe can't remember), if you leave a job or insurer, you are forced to purchase into the govt plan and cannot purchase private insurance.. This is all geared towards a 1 payer system over time..

Govt bureaucrats should not be between individuals and their very private health decisions with their Doctors. This is the beginning of a 1 payer system if you read the legislation. It will hurt jobs, increase premiums and increase taxes all while reducing the quality of care and forcing Americans to lose control over their lives.

We cannot afford it. We have the economy to recover first.

Insurance companies profits will suffer and people should not have government in health care. Our company spend millions lobbying against public health care.

Listen to yourself! Insurance companies ARE the problem! People say they don't want a gov't bureaucrate between them and their doctor. I'd much rather have the bureaucrat, with no personal financial motive, than an insurance adjuster whose primary mission is to find ways to deny claims and save the company money!

The gov't is less than perfect and bloated because it can't afford to protect itself from the many thousands of 'citizens' who take every opportunity to defraud it. We have met the enemy and he is us.

Unconstitutional? Say WHAT?

Leaving health care the way it is is self-serving to the health care and drug industries. I'd rather try to deal with the fraud than continue to line the pockets of those free-market criminals.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Leo

Perhaps it's the fact that it's Christmas Eve and everyone is busy, but you can't help feeling that you're walking on eggshells around certain people. Their emotions are very close to the surface and could erupt at a moment's notice, perhaps in a storm of tears or a fit of pique. Calm them down and ask if you can do anything to help.
